Any TH8 farming bases that stop max giants?

Are there any TH8 farming bases that work well against max giants, or even just TH9's? Or is it just impossible?

Running a farming base against max giants is almost impossible especially if they have spells and a healer. Best defense is good spring trap placement that can take out 3 giants at a time, and not waste a single trap. other than that, Wizards in a CC will help immensely and can potentially run them into the ground as they aren't targeted by giants

Yeah. Sucks getting mauled by them. I have spring traps placed and they spring them off, have wizards in my clan castle, and I still get destroyed. Guess I'll just have to deal with it.

That about sums up all your future responses to this thread

You need ideal spring trap placement, good air mine placement for healers, always have level 5+ wizards in a difficult to lure CC. As many skull walls as possible help too on the interior

Lol I tried to cover the basics of everything that works best against a giant-healer raid from a th9 without factoring in a possible Hero deployment

as a th8 you're pretty much boned against high lvl players that come after you. I would recommend building a base with with your defenses in the outer ring and keep your storage spread out.

There are things you can do outside of base design to help you.

1. Keep your th outside of your base, people will snipe you for your th (easy loot).
2. If you can handle it, consider going into crystal III or II. I find that people will snipe my th for the trophies because they're trying to climb or they just want the easy 50K gold/elix bonus from the league win (crys II).

Even as a th9 now I still get my butt handed to me from time to time by high lvl 10s, but I find keeping my th on the outside of my base is a great way to protect my loot

Yeah already do that. I'm in crystal right now and I've been farming for over 3 months.

Just to add to this, if someone in your clan has max valks use a mix or wiz/valk......if you've never seen the results you'll be amazed.
