Archer Queen jump through the wall outside the radius of jump spell

My base got attacked in clan wars but something weird happened. The opponent's Archer Queen jump through the wall outside the radius of jump spell. Here are some screenshots

The jump spell placement didn't reach the walls close to the TH. So how was the AQ able to do it?

If it was my AQ then why the building in the core got cleared. She should've killed those wizards and golem.

I think it is because every spell affect radius is actually slightly bigger than the circle. You can see the affect clearly on the rage spell since troops just slightly outside the radius stay raged for a short time.

See your third pic, the queen is still glowing from being under the jump spell, so she had just enough range to jump over that wall.

Does look suspect - quite clear that attacker hit royal cloak at that point, hence the inferno was then locking on to the archers, and why the AQ is "glowing"


As said before - can't see why it should happen -- seems iffy to me ........:confused::confused::confused::confused:

isn't it the same for rage spells?

it has like a... "lingering" effect ? like for half a second after it leaves the spell radius

This is how the spell works. It lasts for a very short period of time after troops leave the spell circle. It is the exact same way with the rage spell. The spells are clearly adding a buff for X period of time while in the circle, if they move out, they still have the buff for a very short time.

Fixing this would probably hurt you much more then help you as you take advantage of the effect yourself with every rage spell you drop.

I've been playing for almost 2 years and I didn't know about the lingering effect. It's the first time I've seen this happen. Some troops ignore the jump even if it's right in front of them. Then this AQ does that :/

Better than her ignoring the jump and hitting a wall for 5 minutes instead. ;)

Although yeah, it was against yourself, but now you know how it works, use it to your own advantage!
