Modified TH8 "The Lion" Farming Variant

Just got to TH8 a few days ago, and was using the original Lion base at TH7. Really liked it. I've been fiddling with a bunch of TH8 bases, and hadn't really found one I liked, until I hit on this Lion variant by Razie: http://clashofclansbuilder.com/plan/600152

Still needed a couple tweaks, as the CC could be easily lured, and my personal preference is to have the DE drill somewhat protected.

Other than the horribly under-levelled walls, and defenses, any input on this setup? I'm thinking about moving the skeleton traps back by the CC, and possibly setting them to air, but I'm not sure.

I like it, good positioning of splash cc etc.

One problem with the funnel is that he could hit you from the middle of the funnel with the wbs and ruin the while purpose of a funnel. I'll post on what I'm talking about soon with your base on a pic.

Red: WB AI pathing

Basically those funnels need to watch out from attacks coming from the direct middle of the funnel, I would suggest making a small gap/funnel to mess with some AI's

Oh, wow - I'll try that. Haven't been attacked other than snipes yet to see how it does.

Are you the same guy that made the reddit post? I love this modification! I wish I had turned it into a TH8 version myself :)

Wasn't aware of a reddit post - no, not me.

I did start posting it here and there now however

Everything is good, air defense, mortars, really like pathing, just keep upgrading everything and you'll have a heck of a base. Great Base, no comment
