Bowser 8 - Master of Puppets - Adaptable Farm and Defense Layout for Town Hall 8

Thanks for sending me the trophy base traps:).

I have been using the trophy base for the last 2 days and here is the result so far http://imgur.com/a/m9iby I had about 200k gold 350k elixir and 400 dark elixir that could of been looted and all the attacks have come from the right side so far.

Could you send me the war base traps please, it wasn't released when you sent me the trophy base and has the farming base got the same trap layout as the trophy base you sent me? Thanks

forgot to mention that I had 2 cannons + 1 tesla upgrading and only 1 cannon is max lvl in my th8 base atm, so base seems ok so far:)

The base has worked well since I set up...only 1 real solid attack from a maxxed TH9 troops and strong queen. L6 Giants were all wiped out pretty quickly and it was only really the queen who did the damage plus some L6 wizards from CC deployed late on. Lost about 2/3 of the loot available but no DE and only 1 star. Also had an AD down which would have taken out 2 healers and two tesla's down at the time, so more than happy the layout is performing. Otherwise virtually everything else is a TH snipe.

In the war layout, whats the reason for dropping the central CC? Presumably to give triangular protection to TH from AD and wizard towers?

My war starts tomorrow so I'd appreciate the war traps if you still don't mind sending (PM also send with my details)

Thanks for the feedback. The reason for dropping the cc is the reasons you mentioned as well as being a good distraction for drags drawing them in front of ad with the cc's high hit points. Also in war having a fully concealed cc is less important especially for anti-drag and I gave priority to the centralisation and tightly and deep triangulated ad and wiz. I'll send war traps later on. Thanks again.

Hey BigC and anyone using this base. Would you guys say this is a good TH8 base for early Th8, or mid-late TH8? Also has anyone been attacked from the south? How does it hold up? This is an area that I think would be slightly weak for this base?

A clanmate of mine is a 2-week old th8, it held up for him almost as well as it held up for me (mid-late th8). South is the weakest point but they will need to zap a mortar or use heal/rage spells to go through. Even then only a high level AQ can get to the DE.

I mostly get sniped, but I got 100%'d by a max gowipe and max hogs which didn't take too much loot because of the penalty. Otherwise they almost always get 2 or 3 storages max.

I've been researching TH8 bases for a little while, and just came across your design. I love the deceptiveness of it, and would really like to give it a try. Hey BigC I attempted to PM you but am unable to PM you. I would appreciate if you could send me the trap placements for Farm, Trophy, and War as I am going to be using for war for sure and be switching between trophy and farm depending on my trophy count.
