I think CoC should allow upgrading heroes to be used when attacking in wars. They allow defenses and heroes to be used on the defensive side while upgrading or building, why not allow them to be used for attacking as well?!

Defenses are able to def your village in cw ye, but spell factory, laboratory and barracks aren't able to use for attacking... The King/queen (I think) does def your base however they're getting upgraded!
Fair enough. I just think your BK/AQ are so vital to an attack that they should be available even while upgrading. The spell facotry/lab/barracks only have a few upgrades until maxed so that isn't a big deal. The BK/AQ have 40 levels to upgrade, so you can't compare the two as they are apples and oranges. 100% agree, it's lopsided that they are there for def bunt for attacking. Severely cramps who you can target, especially when going against developed th10s.
Great! That was my thinking entirely. If I am without my BK I literally lose about 10-15% damage per attack on a developed TH10. And considering there are 40 freaking levels to upgrade I will be without my BK for quite some time as I am doing back to back upgrades on him and my AQ.Quote:
