[WAR]Attacking lvl6 base as lvl6 TH

Hi guys, I have to attack an enemy's lvl6 war base as a TH6 player. What CC should I ask for the raid and how should I proceed?

I'm thinking of using wallbreaker on the pink walls and sending giants+archers with a heal spell to clean the WT and mortar. There is probably lots of traps in the huge gap between the wall and the barracks though. And maybe also some archers on the bottom-left side to clear the buildings since there is no defenses there closeby to stop me.

If you have access to level 6 Balloons, that's the best way to 3 star TH6's. Use giants to destroy the AD early then release the balloons. Use heal spells to keep balloons alive longer.

I can make 6 lvl1 balloons, but level? I don't understand...Leveling ballons to lvl2 would take 24 hours, the war already started there is 23 hours left. I'm looking for attack strategy against that base with the troops I can already make (look at 2nd screenshot for available troops). Ty for feedback!

Edit: Oh I just understood what you meant by "access" as in requesting them from clan. That's not likely to happen though, I'm one of the newbs so expensive resources will probably go to someone else.

Hey 3 stars, I know you want to be the becon of hope and knowledge out there for everyone to soak up, but this advise to a player who really could use some solid answers does not need Max Troops to 3 star a TH 6. Especially since he only has access to a level 4 lab dishing out level 3 Balloons. He is a TH 6 attacking another TH 6. Now dumping Max balloons or any max troop into this guys clan castle although fun really takes away the whole point of this game. STRATEGY. Max troops donating only dumbs down TH 6,7,and 8 skill, because they begin to believe they have to have MaX troop every time. It just gives them a false sense of accomplishment. I know because I was the guy handing them out like water, only to realize later my guys were horrible at strategy when I wasn't around to help them in War.
As far as advise to this guy, there is no way to give him a solid answer anyway without looking at his profile, and the guy he is attacking. Then give him a real answer, either ground assault or air depending on the best strategy. If you want to advertise your video web site by all means share away, because I know that you really want help and that's cool.

I lol'd ur pretty cool 10/10. I started playing 2 weeks ago I just hit TH7 3 hours into war day, I'm not sure if I can use my 4th army camp for war, I raid a lot so my base already has max lvl6 walls. I agree I don't want my clan to help me overkill the guy, their stuff would be more helpful elsewhere. This is my first war so I just want advice on how to proceed.

This is my current base, didn't have the time to upgrade stuff or fix the layout, don't have all the new buildings yet.

I'm the 29th out of 30 bases in the war, and the guy I'm choosing to attack is 27 or something, I was recommended the 30th though.

Any advice is welcome on what to do!

I realize this may be late but the TH 6 base you want to attack has a weak air defense and is ripe for your level 1 balloon attack. You will need 2 lightning as many balloons as you can minus some archers to lure CC troops out(if he has any in WaR base) and take them out. You may want to ask for Giants or more balloons in your CC because they will target the air defenses you need to take out first. For this strategy I suggest Lure, lightning, take out remaining air defense, then swarm out the balloonian army you mustered up. The only thing you did'nt mention was how big your camps are. That would ultimately determine how well you would do. If you go ground attack, it will be much tougher as the TH 6 base you are attacking is much more developed. Good luck and if it doesn't work out remember 1 thing-always gave a troop upgrading in your laboratory-it takes the longest of all the upgrades because you only have 1 lab. Good luck!

Thanks for reply! My army camps are all maxed except the TH7 one I just got 2 hours ago, so 3 lvl6 ones and one new lvl2 one (not sure I can use it for clan war?), total capacity 180.

Use Giant, Healer, Wiz

Attack from the AD side. Once the AD is down, drop your healers.

Usually the most expensive army is the answer, either mass balloons or giant wizard, as suggested. Success requires proper deployment, luring clan castle troops and killing before main assault is fundamental tactics. The reason to be in a warring clan is best clan castle troop support, in your case healer or high lvl giants for giant wizard healer or minions, dragon or high level balloons for balloon attack.

4 Level 6 balloons in CC will rock any TH6 base in war. Clan wars is about what you have access to as a team not as an individual. Your opposing clan will be using max troops on you... shouldn't you use max troops on them? Using anything less than your best troops is risking less than 3 stars. Granted some bases can be taken with less than max troops.

No, I think you are missing the point. You are also underestimating an individual's skill level. If all this game were about putting max troops in a clan castle to 3 star a base every time and win all the wars then this would be the most boring game on the market. I've donated 4 max balloons to a TH 6 attacking a TH 6 many times, and I've seen epic fails. Why? I'll get to that in a minute. The question to this original post was just about a guy needing some actual advice on attacking in a war. Max troops are not the answer. They are simply an end to a means in which to fight. The answer is the strategy of how to deploy and conquer.
So why would 4 max balloons fail against a TH 6? Simply put, BAD STRATEGY. How do you know what's in the other guys CC? A max Drag or 5 Max wiz would pop that balloon party right quick. I've seen it. So before you say "get max balloons and watch some videos", give the kid some solid advice on how to attack first ie -STRATEGY tips. You are a veteran clasher, it wouldn't be hard to come up with a strat for TH 6.
My suggestion was to use lure the CC troops out and smother with or take out with archers, use his lightning to weekend or take out air defense. Then drop CC troops targeting defense, then drop the swarm of level 1 balloons to finish it off. -that is what I am talking about 3 stars. It's just not enough to drop MAX troops. For me real teamwork and leadership is coaching in your clan to give your players the best possible outcome, and if you have expensive troops-use em, but it ain't the final say in winning a 3 star WAR battle.
