Intentional supercell? Clan keeps pushing me to gem for archer queen upgrades

I been in a clan for nearly 8 months now and we've been very successful in clan wars. We have over 70 victories so its been highly competitive and always warring. I'm at the point where my archer queen upgrades is starting to take 7 days. heroes can usually make or break on getting 2 stars for wars so you can't really plan ahead of time if you plan to upgrade yoru archer queen(200 days to get to level 40). Is there any word if Supercell will allow for archerqueen/king use for wars..i don't mind if i can't use them for raiding loot/etc.

I love clash of clans and never in my time playing this game felt like I had to gem. This is the first and really don't like how this is being done.

It takes 200 days to get lvl 40 archer queen?!?!? Thats ridiculous! You will be waiting almost a year for that!

It takes 200 days from upgrade 1-40 altogether, let alone the time to get the de needed.

If you are a competitave war clan then of course upgrading heroes will really help. But i agree, Supercell should allow heroes to be used in war while upgrading. It doesn't make sense to me why heroes can be used on defence but not offence while upgrading.

I hope we could use our heros while upgrading only in war :( since all the buildings in war also does not effect when you're upgrading in you main village

SC is pushing you to gem, it's their job. You can beat them by being patient and farming like a madman. Is getting level 40 heroes an easy thing to do? Nope, if it were the game would be incredibly unbalanced. It sucks get used to it, srry

It would make Clan Wars fairer as your Queens level is a key part of matchmaking; regardless of her availability.

But SuperCell also know it is a huge temptation for people to gem her. SuperCell rate gem sales higher than fairness. You pay to be at the top of the trophy ladder, and also pay to have the best chance to win clan wars.

My personal response? Join a clan who doesn't do clan wars so you don't fall into that pressure.

Yes I would like it if upgrading heroes were available in war and yes Supercell would rather have us use gems to make them available.

Being without my heros for a week is why I hate to upgrade them. I cringe when I get too much dark and have to upgrade a hero. Wish I could use them while upgrading.
