Freeze spell is a waste unless maxed. Those extra 1 or 2 seconds on the last two levels make a huge difference.Quote:

I agree. When turning th10 my first job was to get freeze spells so I could take on infernos. I researched lvl 2 but was very disappointed when I realised how many levels it has, presumably all offering only an additional 1 second each. ...expensive time consuming endeavour! My freeze plans are in the cooler for now!
Yep +1 second each level. So unless you commit all the way I believe your better off getting troops like Barb, Arch, WB, Wiz & Minion.Quote:

But I am going to do spells alternating with pink troops for a bit. Freeze 2 then wallbreakers. Freeze 3 then pekka 4. Freeze 4 then archers. Max freeze then max pekka. Etc,...
I just spent a month on maxing freeze. It becomes really useful at lvl 4. Lvl 2 is not worth the slot. Better off using something else.
Great thread... I plan on going TH10 soon also. For a clan war attack against another TH10, is freeze level 1 basically useless... or do you just carry another rage instead?
I would say freeze, it's a necessity for any good hog, mass drag, gowiwi, gowipe, any go-suffix.Quote:

Here's what i've got in my Lab
Lvl 7 barch
lvl 6 wizzies just finished
max golemns
lvl 5 minions.
Everything else was maxed except valks at th9.
I'm holding off on minions because the 100k will be used for AQ to lvl 25.
depending on builders, and elixer flow, i'll plan on doing freeze until max / almost max and then switch to pekka / wb.
Freeze 1 is truly unusable. Lvl 2 still worthless. Lvl 3 it can be helpful, but you won't be happy with it.
Freeze 4 was the first lvl where it felt like it was really working. 5 does not disappoint.
But my experience suggests to plan to get it to 4 or don't bother. If only to Lvl 2 definitely not.
Freeze is an absolute game changer. Wb 5 or 6? Nice. But a really incremental bump. Ditto wiz 6, barb/arc 7 unless u barch all the time.
Fow CW i would prioritize freeze to 4 and pekka. Hold on both if farming is a bigger priority.
