The Level Up Reward!!!

Welcome to the Level Up Reward! Today I would like to go over an idea that a few people have suggested, but never in this detail. I myself covered this idea a looooooong time ago, but the rewards were too OP, and got a lot of criticism. But, this version of the idea is a lot better, has received great reviews, and should be added to the game. Enough introduction, though, let's get to the idea!

The Level Up Reward is exactly what it sounds like: A reward for leveling up. Before I tell you about the rewards and how to access them, I NEED to go over something. When the update comes out, everybody keeps asking if they will get the loot prior to their levels. Well, I have figured out a good compromise, I think. If you are a level 1-49, you get one free defense upgrade. If you are level 50-199, you get a free storage fill for one resource, and any higher level gets a free storage fill for all of your resources (Excluding gems). All of these rewards will expire after one week. At that point, they will go void and disappear.
Now to the good stuff. To claim your reward after you have climbed a level, click on the Village Maiden (The achievements button). A new tab on the top will say "Level Up Reward". If you have gained a level, it will appear in that section. It says the level you reached, the amount of elixir, gold, and dark elixir you will receive, as well as a green "Claim Reward Button". You have five days or else the button will grey out, and the rewards will become void. I have a picture of the screen.

There will be a question mark in the bottom right corner of the pop up. Clicking this takes you to a description of the Level Up Reward, which reads, "The Level Up Reward is a reward for leveling up you earn each time you level up. Claim your reward quickly; the reward goes void after 5 days, so you cannot claim it." A copy of the chart below is below the description.
There will be an "X" mark on all Void rewards, so you can delete them.
In order for this reward to not be abused, if this update comes out, the XP received from donating will no longer exist. Instead, it will be replaced by 100 Gold per housing space, or something similar.

Now, since the Level Up Reward needs some achievements, here are some achievements of GEMS that you earn by leveling up:

LEVELER (One Star): Reach level 50! Reward: 5 Gems, 5 XP

LEVELER (Two Stars): Reach Level 100! Reward: 50 Gems, 25 XP

LEVELER (Three Stars): Reach Level 200! Reward: 100 Gems, 1000 XP


REWARDED (One Star): Collect 100,000 Loot in Level Up Rewards! Reward: 5 Gems, 10 XP

REWARDED (Two Stars): Collect 1,000,000 Loot in Level Up Rewards! Reward: 25 Gems, 100 XP

REWARDED (Three Stars): Collect 5,000,000 Loot in Level Up Rewards! Reward: 75 Gems, 1000 XP


MASTER OF LEVELS (One Star): Reach Level 250! Reward: 10 Gems, 1000 XP

MASTER OF LEVELS (Two Stars): Reach Level 400! Reward: 25 Gems, 1500 XP

MASTER OF LEVELS (Three Stars): Reach Level 500! Reward: 50 Gems, 2000 XP

I support this but SEE isn't so happy about giving free gems, I'd change the rewards a bit.

It's just 5, 7, and 10 gems. And, not many people reach level 251, unless they are gemmers.

I agree. Could we just get it rewarded without extra tabs and screens?

I like the idea, but how about the players who already have a high lvl.

How would you be able to get that high in clash of clans?????? the best level ive seen is 174... and that guy has been playing since coc came out!!!! Also, the rewards are very weak. The league win bonus for champions is 430k of both gold and elixer, and 1900 dark elixer. This is much better loot than the meager level up rewards for the very high levels. The level of your account only shows how much youve played and how many buildings/troops youve upgraded. Nothing else.

lots and lots of donating... it is possible if your clan has a lot of requests whenever possible, you jump between clans to donate but still, that would take forever to do, but it is still possible.
Also with the potential Th11, there would be a whole new set of upgrades that could boost XP

These are just small rewards for gaining levels. Not millions of loot.

I think that you should get gold and elixir every level up and the rewards should be bigger each time instead of them being the same for 10 levels at a time.

Kind of the point of this, in a way.

I think it's a good idea. Your progression would feel more rewarding that way.

What would happen if you ️Level up , dont collect your reward and Lvl up with in the 2 days what will happen with the previous reward?

I like your idea, but the rewards are NOTHING. Give us something like gems ONLY. Level 120, 5 gems? Ridiculous! It has to be at least 50...

Small Prizes!!!! Get them each level. It adds up to a total of 50 gems for ten levels!

That's true, but the rewards aren't terribly much. Maybe you could get 1/2 of all the prizes when the update rolls out or something.

Nah, no thanks. I personally find the reward of being a high lvl and lvling up to simply be the satisfaction.

Maybe you can choose your rewrded when you level up, depending on what you are ending at the time. I also think the last few lvl ups are very hard, especially when it gets past lvl 200, so it should be a much bigger prize.

Why Level up and get bad rewards when i can get much better in one raid...

what i would prefer is a daily reward based on level rather than a bonus as you said.

I think every level should just give you some gems. 1 gem lvl 1-10, 2 gems lvl 11-20, 3 gems lvl 21-30 etc..

I think it is better if each level up we will get both gold and elixir but in half amount of mentioned.. like lvl 1-10 = 250 gold and 250 elixir

Yes. Cause the level up is pretty much useless. To me

Maybe give both elixer and gold. Just one resource will not compensate for everything.

So I just give the player two resources? Elixir and Gold, and DE and Gems?

I like it! But from lvl 11-100 it should be halved. Too much of each resource.

I love it. Gives incentive for leveling up and stop those ppl who donate and rushers but what about those who already are already pass those levels.

WY wouldn't supercell let them/us claim the rewards that we already earned, it's just that we'll be able to claim a whole lot more at the same time :) so if anything that would be just better for those who already deserve to claim those rewards, a bunch of free wall upgrades in an instance!

I'd say this idea sounds very nice and it's well thought through in the OP already, no big tweaks needed and I don't see reasons why it would be bad to implement besides the fact that some people might have a 100mil reward the first day due to being L200+ :)

Ps: as op sais the rewards should be claimable for something like two days which meens people won't be able to stash a billion to use everytime they upgrade to safestore loot between upgrades and never need to raid but they will need to either use gems to finish builders in the case that they gained alot in start or just throw it on walls :) or cash in the rewards and at the same time raise the loot in the realm

Players who have already passed these levels should get something..... Just maybe not all the loot. I will figure something out.

I Hate the idea of a game that has levels but they're completely irrelevant. Most games at least make you passively stronger as you level up ... Give you availability of skills or other items...

perhaps they should tie th level to your level to prevent so many th rushers. There's nothing like a th10 with level 2 archer towers

Since the bonus isn't too much, good idea, well thought out.

We already have a problem with people donating stuff that's not requested and donation clans and the like, this will just exacerbate any problems that it causes as people will be experiencing real benefits from levelling up.
One point of view is that it will lead to an influx of cheap donations solely for levelling up.
The other point of view that SC probably supports is that donations shouldn't lead to such benefits and people should be donating out of team spirit and being a good clanmate, not to get some loot in return or whatever (granted the loot doesn't make it profitable by any means but still).

I like this idea allot,

It gives the levels some reason to it. As mentioned before its nothing th overpriced so
I don't see the reason why not.

The only thing I take in question is those really high levels,

Do you think they need to be rewarded with those high amounts?
I'm maxing my TH9, i'm pretty far and im level 100. I think if i'll hit level 200
and higher i should be able to be pretty maxed out on TH10 already, you think
these people are interested in this loot?

Interesting point. This could lead to low level players wanting to level up quicker but the bonus is really small and low levels.

This is why I have the bonuses low. There are always the idiot who will do that, but this problem that can be fixed by kicking or training them not to.

It might, you never know.

My only problem with it is, as a high level myself, will high levels get any benefit from already being a high level,

I will figure something out, maybe some gems or loot at the update.

Lets be honest it would be great....there is no doubt.

but there are a huge percentage of players donating just to lvl now....if this comes out 50% of players will be doing it just for the rewards. Thats the only down side i see.

sc started giving gems on trees, so i doubt if it comes out they will give gems per lvl...but a small loot reward may be on the cards as loot is an issue to some now a days...great idea, with a few tweaks it would be great :)

but i think sc will not let gems be part of the reward BATMAN32 OUT

SC is generally slow with updates/improvements. So in saying that, just putting in lvl u p rewards would follow in similar nature, keeping simple. I'd rather have more options (similar or better than the other games, like dailies for example). But again gotta keep it simple for SC, so OP is pretty good.

Good idea, but I'm thinking SC won't be too keen on giving out that many gems... I'd decrease the gem awards more - maybe once every 25-50 levels. Also I think the reward shouldn't be void after two days (think about if a bunch of upgrades finished when you were away from your phone/tablet ... poof, loot gone.

Like it. What happens for people who didn't get the reward and are already max level?

I like the idea, but it is wayyyyy to weak. actually lol'ing, uh I've never even seen someone above 250, so the last part wouldn't even matter. Tbh, by the time you get to lvl250, you would ideally be maxed at least defense wise.
"Can help if you save up". So I am upgrading an archer tower to LVL9, and it costs 1.5mil gold. The fact that the crystal 2 loot bonus is the same as the LVL up bonus for a LVL60-70, makes no sense. The bonus for even that level should be 500k gold and elixir, and 2.5k dark elixir. By the time I've saved enough loot to lvl up that LVL8 archer tower, I would be LVL78ish by the time I have saved enough to upgrade ONE archer tower. Your point is irrelevant. It wouldn't be OP, because it's not like you lvl up every day, unless you spend all your troops donating. This wouldn't be OP at all. Even with the 500k each and 2.5k de. I level up around once a week. This would be like a war win bonus to me. It helps, but I do not depend on it at all, and it is not insanely overpowered. Consider multiplying all of your current loot reward by 10. Literally. You do that, and you have my vote. I love the idea, but its pointless with how you have the current rewards set up. Bye :P

Good idea! I like how at different levels the reward gives what you need most. Like 81-90 it is dark elixir, where you would probably be upgrading king at late th8 or getting queen at th9. Later on it is elixir where you would be getting those pesky 8mil lab upgrades. +1

Quite smart but a little disbalanced on the loot. Seems a bit to little IMO

To clarify, I only read the first and last pages and am responding just to the OP.

I like this idea! I was thinking at first that SC would never implement it because it would cut profits, but your numbers seem reasonable and could work really well.
