I'm honestly not sure if this design is similar to any others right now, but it's one I created when the new update came about. It's been working really well. I've only had three full scale attacks and the assailants only managed to break through one set of walls.

I like how you have the CC and mortars close to the center so that they can still protect your storages from a distance. The only thing I would want to change but at the same time not is switch your wizards towers with your air defenses so your wizard towers last longer and do splash damage for a longer period of time before being destroyed. But like I said I would also not change it because it then exposes your air defenses and makes air troops destroy your base. If you are getting raiding more by ground troops switch it and see what happens. If you lose more attacks by switching it, then put it back to the way you have. Looks great!
yeah it's definitely a modified version of a popular base ive saw before. i cant think of the name RN but who cares, the base is legit one of the best ive ever saw before and you managed to improve by implementing the 4th mortar. congrats :)

Since I just made my own base that is similar, I'll offer some thoughts...
First, the things I like...Great symmetry with the critical defenses of Wizard Tower, Air Defense and Mortars...All of the mortars are in the core...perfect and the WT's are all protecting two resources...Awesome!
Second, I do like how you have placed the giant bombs behind the traps in your funnels. This prevents a bomb from going off and then a half defeated giant from being flipped. I see this mistake a lot.
So, here are my criticisms...
1. I'm not a huge fan of the double trapped entrances to the funnels. I think you'd be better served creating a two way funnel with a trap at the one gap entrance which will capture any giants coming into the funnel as they head off in either direction.
2. You have the clan castle in the middle which is perfect but there are two consequences from the way you've designed your wall pattern around it.
a. You are effectively "protecting" your clan castle (with walls on each side)...but there's no reason to prevent troops from killing your physical CC. All you need from your CC is for it to be in the center of the base and for the troops inside to be unlurable into corners. I think you'd be better off creating a larger central core to protect a critical defense or resource(s)...Another way of putting this is that there's no way for your CC to fight back, no resources inside it (usually)...and hence no reason to put walls around it.
b. You are also creating 4 way junctions of your walls which is generally thought of as a no-no for base construction as it allows broken intersections to lead into multiple compartments.
3. I'm not a fan of the non-inverted wizard tower/ air defense configuration. You have placed two wizard towers and two air defenses on the southern side. I think the strongest possible defense is to invert them where you have the side with one air defense containing two wizard towers. I could see why you'd want to keep the strong side near the DE storage but your wizard towers are so far away from it to be of any help. Basically, your DE is going to be easily Barched in it's current location. Having the DE drill nearby makes it doubly enticing for anyone nexting by.

I actually have my DE in the center right now since I'm farming DE. I have yet to find a good way to keep the CC in the center without putting walls. I think it works better with the DE storage in the center all the time.
I have my WT/AD set up the way it is because I'm relying on my mortars for the splash damage. The idea is that the wizard towers attack troops funneled, which will usually go into the storage compartment, so even if they destroy the WT, they'll be hammered by at least two of my mortars. I think it works out well.
I would love to have different trap placement, but I'm still working on it.
