Champs 3400 vs Masters 2900

I was recently sitting around 2900 cups no shield and out of the blue got hit by a Champs players sitting around 3400 cups.

This was not a revenge attack.

I am still upgrading defenses for TH10 and I had the following under construction:

1 inferno - lvl 2to3
2 teslas
1 xbow
1 archer tower

I know it's rough when you choose to upgrade 5 defenses but the gold has been bountiful in masters league.

Moral of the story he 3 starred me for 2 cups with his max troops and max heroes and took a whole lot of gold and de. How did he come down that far and hit me?

how was that possible? correct me if im wrong but isnt there a max range of +/- 200 trophies when a player is searching for a village to attack?

I have heard once you hit around 2950 there is no cup "cap" so to speak. That would be why.

Above a certain cup number, somewhere between 2700-3000, there is no cap. Anyone higher than you can attack you

IDK if there is a cup cap but i noticed that once your over 2900 cups you can get attacked by Champs. Happened to me a couple times during my last trophy push.

The he cap I'm referring to is below 2900. It's a +\- 200 cap. Above 2900 there is no cap. Kinda lame but makes sense since there's no tiers to champs like every other league has.

There is no cup over 2900 cups.

I feel your pain lol. I was at 2948 cups and he was at 3406. I have all legos and defenses/traps max other than 3 archer towers and 1 upgrading. My heroes were down and I had no cc troops lol.
