Same as heroes
Obviously offense will need to be strengthened, but this seems fair
It won't affect me as much, though, because my clan castle is impossible to lure, even with hogs.

I always felt the Heroes & Clan Castle Troops shouldnt be able to go no further than their Radius Circle Grid - right now with the way the Heroes are Set up - sometimes they just watch as defenses no more than 4-6 squares away from them are being destroyed.
Oh yeah? Why does this sound like a load of bull?
Anyway, luring out the CC is a huge part of some attacks. Giants and Hogs in particular would become totally unusable since the CC troops couldn't be killed without having troops who are able to inside the radius
In that case, your Queen would have to lock onto the Dragon. If you attack like most people, you'll send your Queen in after the bulky troops, so your Golems or Giants or whatever will be getting burnt while your Queen shoots at a wall. Even if she does get dropped right away, her wonky AI may not have her target troops first until she gets targeted herself. Same with any other troops that can kill CC
I think it should work like a tesla so t has a trigger radius and an attack radius which would be like 15 blocks radius. So the troops need to step in to the trigger radius to come out but then can attack anything in the huge attack radius
Not the craziest idea I've seen on this this forum lol however I really think that would be too overpowered unfortunately
Im sure almost all players will quit.
I don't think that he wants to say that what you're currently discussing... I think he means to set the CC (like the king/queen on 'guard' and 'sleep') on 'guard' and 'closed' so you don't lose your requested troops while you're afk...
If you mean the ability to stop your troops coming out to defend then I agree.
If you mean the radius is the only place they defend then sorry but in my view it's way to much of a defence buff. We just get a new trap at TH8+ that acts as a little castle. We don't need more without some kind of balance, and this would take way to much to balance.
maybe just make the radius smaller
If we cannot lure cc troops, than it would be too hard to win. Imagine wizards or dragons not coming out until your halfway to the base, and reinforcing troops that you put down would not have enough time to get there to help out your troops.
+1 this idea.
The trigger radius should be smaller than the attack radius, so luring has to be a little more troop expensive. Otherwise people have to place their clan castle in the middle (smack in the middle for town hall 8 and below) to prevent easy luring.
However, an attack radius of just 15 seems too OP for defender. So an attack radius of 20 and a trigger radius of 12 would be balanced IMO
I totally agree, they need to be like the heroes.
There are two problems comparing heroes to clan castles
1. Heroes aren't available to th8/9 so people have more powerful attacks to deal with them
2. Heroes don't do splash troops tend to group up as they go through the base. If a barb king is killing giants/barbs etc it is one at a time. An un lurable clan castle for a th6 could have max wizards in it which would vaporize giants/barch or just about anything a similar level attacker sends at it.
If clan castles troops were only from your level then it would be possible to deal with but seeing as they can be much stronger then your level there is no way for attacks to deal with them especially at lower townhalls.
Not like it at all, crazy OP. Put in the middle near TH and is like an extra 300dps that can not be moved farther then a few blocks? part of the idea iof the cc troops is a time waster to lure to side and have to deal with.
I personally have little trouble with the BK hero. Again just lure away alittle from normal defense and stack in him. Have not seen many AQ being only recent th 8. But in most cases the cc troops way they are tend to be hard enough to deal with
