TH9 - Defense maxed - what to do now?

I suspect two groups complain most about loot at th10.

1, those with rushed th10 bases. I feel really sorry for these folks, having a th10 with th7 troops.

2, those long time players who played a lot before the loot system changed.

I have zero problems keeping 5 builders busy at th10 6 weeks in, even on my less active account. Loot seems so much easier to get with max camps. I still am using th9 barch in C2, hitting bases just like I did at th9.

I just returned to farming heroes again after my exilir building upgrades. I may go a little, but life is good. Every once in a while loot seems rare, so I drop 100 or push a little and find a better zone.

I guess I could have stayed at th9 longer for walls and heroes. But my less active account was never going to be maxed for months. And once I hit th10, I saw how overblown the th10 loot crisis is.

Heres my question on that stupid rumor that TH10 LOOT is BAD.

Say you pretty much maxed yout TH10. What happens to the gold other than using it to raid?? Cant do nothing else with gold after maxing your TH10 and finding a raid.

Yea, nexting and that ♥♥ is an issue cause of "bad loot" however, their is always a good raid to find.

But why find a base with good loot if youre maxed?

Other than Elixir obviously.

Idk I just think some people are morons and dont know what else to complain about.

You're right that many people complain, but look at their bases.
Many of them don't even have skulls, most don't have legos and none of them have lava.
If 10 million people tell you loot is bad at TH10, but you have a more maxed base than 9.9 million of them, why would you listen to them?

For the rare person who's at your level and still complains, I'd ask if it was fun barching the same old TH8s for six months. If it was, then good for them. To be fair, it's gotten easier to stay at TH9 now that we have elixir wall upgrades, but it's also gotten easier to get loot at TH10 with increased loot bonuses.

Whatever you do, don't listen to chumps... just make sure you're enjoying the game.

skyyyy, its coopsrhymbusta i was in the loonatix war clan with you. I debated the same thing when i was th9. I would def get those walls to lv8 and both heroes to lv20. IMO, getting the th10 upgrades done is a better use of your time then grinding for walls and wasting all that builder time. Its better off maxing your th10 defences then just do walls after your maxed. I haven't regretted going to th10 and people who complain loot is bad have no idea. Im bringing in 350-550k (including loot bonus) gold per raid in champs with loonian! ENJOY!

Finish your skulls and move up.
th10 loot rumors are just that, from ppl who are mad cuz bad.

Good advice. I did have fun with the legos. With the ability to use elixer too, it was pretty easy and fun. No one tried to get my loot ever, since I never had more than 1 million of either. I guess no one tries now while I'm on lavas since I'm farming low range trophies, but for some reason it is way less fun at 3 million than 1 million (3 times less fun maybe, lol). Maybe I just am bored after doing legos but for whatever reason, I'm not liking lavas much. I doubt I will go on much longer.

I would just upgrade if I were you. I went to 9 with almost maxed defense (everything maxed except level 9 ATs) and almost all pink walls, and I haven't had any issues keeping builders busy, despite claims that I would be smashed with my crappy walls and I would regret upgrading and blah blah blah. I Just finished getting all my new defenses and ATs to maxed TH8 levels (xbows are at level 2) and will be upgrading to 10 as soon as all my defenses are maxed, regardless of where my walls and heros are.

That being said I am not ignoring my walls, I rushed all my elixir upgrades so that as soon as they are done I can dump all my elixir in to my walls. All I have left is to max my DE storage, 1 barrack, and my Dark barracks (currently at levels 5 and 3). I'm going to shoot for a core of Legos (currently skulls) and the rest skulls (currently a mix of pink/purple), but if I don't get Them when my defenses are done o well, still going to go to 10.

Jump to th10 is much different because those nice abandoned th8's are no longer available to farm from. That's the main concern, but I do think I will move up soon.
