He is using himself as example a.k.a it is his war, or in this case theirs.
And yes the bar is not accurate, that probably why they added the time by looking at the profile.

You left the clan that you were in war with... and they probably just started battle day.

From my experience (not saying it's true):

1. If you are in war with the clan you are currently in, you don't have the silver badge with the red line underneath. If you have it, you are in war with another clan.
2. Full red bar = last 24h on your war timer, irrelevant to battle day. (which means a clan can spend 1h searching for war and find a match, all member will be able to war again 1H before battle day ends). As long as your timer is more than 24h, you will always have full red bar.

no battle day is 12 hours through because i attacked twice last night then left this morning
