Is war "loser" loot too high? I believe it is.

I don't see this as a trend. I think this is particular to you clan composition having many TH10s. I'm guessing your opponents with 29 TH10s just lost too much against higher clans and is just farming for loser bonus.

When you will meet better clans, they won't settle for loser bonus. I prefer to get 1M each war than only 350k. Else, we might as well all have a couple of TH10 outside and farm SC resources :)

Three times in a row is not a trend? Why would it be particular to my clan? We have warred 2x a week since wars started and only since the increased loser loot have we had opponents looking to lose. We meet great, high leveled, active clans every war.

I too prefer to get 1M each and every war but it seems clear there are several players and clans out there who don't.

I for one looks for a challenge in cw. If this "free loser loot" trend continues on, isnt it an abuse of the game play. I know loot issues have been bad for many players... but at least cw provides an arena for players to hone their skill and makes the game interesting.

C'mon guys... play to win rather than play to abuse the system... if u lose on purpose rather than lose after trying what is the point then?

Couldn't agree with you more BryanLui. Clan wars have helped keep the game interesting for me. Warring against these clans looking to lose is rather boring and not at all holding my interest. That is my chief complaint - war if you want a challenge, not to milk the war loot system.

if someone is willing to snipe dark elixir in a clan war for like 400 dark elixir, do you think they will care if the loot bonus for winning is 30% or 20%? it's somewhat pitiable to think that people would rather try to one star a base in clan wars rather than use that same army and search for a collector base to raid.

but in any case, you should be happy there are more wars for all involved. and the loser's increased percentage helps those people who DO spend resources but lose a close war. not sure why you'd want to nerf that.

We are a low level warring clan. Twice a week but not strong yet. However, it makes for a good experience and keeps us communicating. we kick members who do not attack. Recently, some of our members who usually are steadfast have stated that too much homework, school activities and extra work hours have been eating into their clash time.
I don't know if this is what you have been experiencing but it does happen. We usually have an over 90% attack used to not used ratio which is pretty good but it has taken many requests to get those hamstrung by other issues to use their attacks.

This is just our experience recently.

I have to admit, the extra war loot is nice from easy wins but I completely understand what you are saying Jackie. I enjoy war because it is a challenge, pitting myself against higher town halls and testing my skills is what it's all about. There's no fun in trampling a base with nothing in the CC. It might sound odd but I actually get a bit of a rush when there is a lot riding on the success or failure of my raid. It is terribly boring if you just know you are going to walk away a winner. For those high level th10's that war to stay interested in the game all together, I can see why this would be a huge problem. I can't offer a solution because honestly, this will continue to happen in my opinion. Supercell will not reverse the loot or spend the time devising a penalty for not using full raids. Why would farming clans not do it.. Like you say.. losers loot is still very attractive. Having said that, I'm sure there are still plenty of clans that war at 100% and will provide a challenge. Just have to cross your fingers that this trend is broken more regularly than 3 in a row in the future :/

Pitiable for me to think people would rather one star a base for loser loot than win the war? I invite you to join my clan and look at my war log - this is happening, three wars in a row to be exact. People are satisfied with free "loser" loot. Winning is of no interest to them. And yes I believe the difference of 20% to 30% has made this far more prevalent and increased the interest in clans and players using these tactics. I did not see this before the update of war loot - could be coincidence but I am thinking not. Isn't the idea of war to win? Why reward the loser and increase these types of tactics?
