Most useless upgrade

Nothing is a useless upgrade, but if we're talking what upgrades I put behind others for cost/time or other reasons.. teslas, most traps, and valkyries

But teslas are your best defense you have for two reasons. Best DPS, and it can actually be hidden. The time is why the cost is so low. Btw valks are fun to use lol i dunno i dont regret upgrading them though i probably wouldn't suggest it being a must upgrade.

I think lvl10+ walls have got to be the most "useless" yes it has some use but not enough to justify its cost. Lvl8 mortar and lvl3 jump spell have to be a close second. Healers need to be multi target already otherwise right up there in the useless pile.

Well for me, my most useless upgrade ever spent on clash of clans that used up vast amount of time and dark elixr were my Max level Hog Riders. Just as my Hogs had had thier final upgrade, there was that awful maintenance break and Hogs were not the same after that. Sure they were overpowering and all the rage back in the day, but after spending all the time in the lab and expecting the fun to begin, I was robbed. By far the biggest disappointment to date. That does not mean they are useless but just not as fun as the were, and to be honest they were overpowering a bit.
The number one useless upgrade defensively would have to be the 4 million in gold single target air mine. My mines are all upgraded as well as the bombs. Heck, even the level 6 small bomb I've seen take out Barb king. But the single target dps is more than enough at the 2 mil level to take out Max balloon and almost an entire drag. You would think by spending the 4 mil you could take out 1 Max drag-nope! Still not enough dps to take out. However, after the Lava hound addition I may have to re-evaluate and pony up that last upgrade. Overall every trap, defense, wall has value. Something is better than nothing. Completely useless? Not really. Everything has a purpose.

Level 4 xbow. 8 million gold for a 5 damage per second increase....terrible.

Once my Teslas hit 6 I love them. To me the least return on investment are the small bombs and seeking air mine. For the cost to upgrade they don't do much damage. I did just to say I was maxed but do regret the seeking mine a bit because of the rearm cost but luckily not many use air troops after elixir started being dumped into walls.

Higher level bomb upgrades.

If I could take back any, it would be goblins, never used them. Healers served me well during TH7

Healers, lvl 11 walls being a close second.
