I just got my TH9 this morning and decided to upgrade my laboratory. Without thinking I clicked upgrade while my PEKKAS had 12 hours left on getting to level 3. Will the PEKKA upgrade be cancelled, will it be paused or is it still going while the laboratory is being upgraded?

This is controversial. Officially the upgrade should be paused. But thrice it didnt happen for me. First time was an accident when i noticed it. Second and Third time i did it on purpose and it it hadnt paused in complete sense...
Here is how..One day left to reach TH8, i start heal spell to level 4(3 days)...next day the moment i get to th8, i begin lab upgrade(4 days)...so officially it should have paused at 1 day with 2 days remaining.....Now when i get the lab after 4 days...voila..only 4 hours left on the heal spell. Where did the 1 day and 20 hours go?
I had done a similar experiment when i was hitting th7, with something similar but i dont remember that in detail.

Like some of the other guys said the upgrade should be paused. I did it once and that's how it worked out for me. Thx for letting me share.

But one thing for sure, there's a glitch on lab researches... if you pay attention on the time you start doing a research, you will see it'll take few minutes or hours (if it's 7+ days research) to finish the research... i.e a 3-7days research won't finish at the same time you started the upgrade.

No, it will not. The lab is still researching no matter when u r upgrading the Lab or when the your village get raided by someone.
U see, when people raid your village, builders and villagers are all run hiding into TH. have u ever see Lab researcher run into TH? No right?
Well, in my experiment, if people raid u, the building time will slightly differ. Let say u start the upgrade at 11 am today and the upgrade time is 1 day. 3 people raid with an average 2 minutes per raid. The finishing time will be defer to 11:06 am the next day due to building progress paused due to builder run away. But not with lab.
Well, i know i am off of the topic. But who care. Lol
