Lv 6 wiz can kill 12 drags in less than 10 seconds
Nothing more funny than watching someone stack 10-12 dragons and wizards destroy them all in a few seconds during war.
Why would you do this in the range of a mortar? Why would you be engaging the cc troops in the middle of the base? These are all ear marks of a poor raid. Clearly a smart raider would have checked cc first while a poor raider wouldn't. When it is hard to check cc, a smart raider always use wb/giants/gob/loons/hogs to check cc. How would your troops be dead and chew up if you are feeding it one single barbarian every 2 seconds???? Once again, you are doing it wrong. Conversely, no matter what troop you have, if you engage the defending cc dragon in the middle of the town while under fire from wizard towers and mortars, I guarantee you you will ALWAYS FAIL (with the exception of using freeze spell and using cc troops to bait your troops to the core)! Please stop complaining about the game, read up, and learn to be a smarter raider. Really, anyone competent would know dragons are a noob unit in defense ... when I see a dragon pop out of the cc in clan war, I always lol and know we're facing a nooby clan.
Sadly, you're proving his case.
PS. What is your gold grab? Mine is 850 million plus, and 1.2 billion if I include my mini .... I know a thing or two about raiding while you sound like you don't.
Meh, drags are a pretty decent CC defense troop (especially early TH lvls) but I don't think they're all that great.
When you start getting around 30+ CC cap I would much rather have things like wizards, witches, archers, valks etc.
Personally I like around 3-4 wiz, rest arch. This means many more troops to lure (rather than just 1 plus a few with a drag) and troops will have to be in the CC radius longer to lure them all out which can take quite abit of time on high cap CC's ....meaning they have to expend more troops to lure and usually get pummeled by defenses in the process.
On a max lvl CC though I like to go with 2-2-3 (2 witch, 2 wiz, 3 arch/barbs).
Drags are good though no doubt, but anyone with half a brain can easily lure CC and deal with it before they botch their raid.
It's the idiots that drop all their giants/ground units and then find out there's a drag in the CC that have the issues.
There's not really any CC troop that is unable to be dealt with, as long as you are careful. Strong wizards will take care of pretty much anything the CC can throw at you, as long as you pull them away from base defenses and you spread out your spawn.
True story! The weakest wizards are the ones that are easily baited and killed. The deadliest cc wiz are the ones that you missed with a bad bait. Realistically you only need 2 or so wiz to mess up someone's raid completely. Having a large number of archers is a great way to increase the chance of a bad cc bait.
The dragons in the clan castles are the most frustrating thing about this game. Everything else is fairly balanced but when everyone of my troops dies to ONE dragon then something needs to be done. I wouldn't be upset if the 47 archers i used to lure it out one by one would have actually attacked the dragon. The archers should attack the dragon when the troops are unleashed against it instead of a building. Meanwhile 47 archers, 12 giants, 20 hog riders, healer and a wizard die in 2-5 shots from the dragon. This has got to be fixed from the amount of threads on this topic.
