Clan castle dragons are WAY overpowered

Anyone that's used dragons knows that they can get shot down extremely quick without destroying certain defenses first. Air defenses and archer towers gun them down almost immediately. However when put in. Clan castle after the update, they do way too much damage

Ive gone up against a dragon three times after the update, and each time I've lost the battle because of it. Not only do they do splash damage now but they can't only be shot by archers or wizards. Every time you try to shoot it down with archers they just get obliterated instantly. They do little to no damage to it and have to use ALOT of troops to take it out.

This isn't the only problem, the main problem is that lightening spells don't even effect the dragon. You put them down and they don't even do damage to it. It says ground and air but it just doesn't hurt it.

Basically supercell, you've made the dragons way to powerful as a clan castle troop. It's made me loose multiple battles and I'm probably not the only one. If you read this, please consider trying to fix it...

Dragons in the CC are complete bullc**p now, my troops just got annihilated for the fifth time in an attack just because of a dragon. 24 level 6 giants, taken out in 3 breaths of a dragon, about 4 seconds. Even my healers, balloons, and minions are blown out of the air by dragons, it's ridiculous. My goblins don't stand a chance, one fire breath takes the whole group out. I have absolutely no way of killing a dragon either, anything that can attack it is very weak and is immediately killed by the dragon.

Something needs to be done about them.

Dragons are probably one of the easiest for me. Just lure it out in a dark corner, separate archers around the dragon so splash damage doesn't kill them at once. Then in less than 10 seconds the dragon is dead. Simple.

Im not seeing your problem. I send out waves of 15 archers at a time in a fairly spaced circle/semi circle and the dragon is gone in a surprising amount of time. And people seem to have no problem with my dragon. Im TH7, so the CC can only be so centred i suppose. But I don't find it to hard to get rid of dragons. (Im farming if it makes a difference)

They are easy to take care of, just lure it out into a corner and surround it with archers from All sides so its splash damage doesnt effect them.

I don't use archers. I'm TH9, and I hate using archers, and even if I liked them, it's hard to farm well with them with the types of matches I find.

Regardless, I shouldn't have to use one certain type of troop to take out a dragon, and dragons shouldn't be able to decimate my brigade of giants in less than 4 seconds.

there are strategies to deal with different clan castle troops.

Dragons are strong is clan castle but i don't think they are overpowered.
Keep in mind that they cost alot as well.

You just need the right strategy to deal with them and not let them run riot and ruin your raid unchecked.
Releasing mass goblins while there is a dragon around is just suicide and if it takes all your goblins out in 1 hit then it is your fault... not the game design's fault.
Also never deploy all your archers in 1 spot against a dragon. I seen it a few time against me already massive waste of army...

Maybe I should say less and enjoy replays more :)

Dragon is not only taken out by archers.
You can also deploy your own dragon, use wizards, or minions to deal with dragons.
Another idea is to lure it out then place a single barb on a far off building, the dragon will fly towards that lone unit while you have free reign of their base for some time.
I don't see how it forces you to use archers. it just just not tactically sound to allow a dragon to cook your giants in a group to start with... I carry a few barbs to lure CC troops first.

COC is a strategy game for a reason...

Every time I've been ruined by a dragon, it was only after it spawned after a minute or so. I would obviously have never deployed all my troops if I knew they would be instantly annhilated by a dragon. Again, I shouldn't have to use one certain type of troop to take out a dragon. A pekka is one "level" higher, yet still takes longer to create, costs more, moves slower, and has overall much less destructive power than dragons too, and no other troop, or even tower, for that matter, has as much destructive force as a CC dragon, so there's obviously an imbalance here. No other troop or tower can now down 24 level 7 giants in an instant, and it's absurd how easy it is for dragons to do so.
