So, we have a Barbarian King, and we have an Archer Queen, and that's it? There's nowhere to go from there?
Why?
Why not keep the progression going?
Some ideas:
Goblin Cammander, Giant Overlord, Wizard Chief, stuff like that. It would be interesting for higher level players who hit the lvl cap on Barb king and Arch queen to strive for more of these hero's, and it would leave people who have just obtained both hero's wanting to strive for the next hero.
1. Goblin Commander
Melee Attacker
A goblin that has consumed enough Dark Elixer to morph into a gigantic version of the ordinary Goblin. Favorite target: Resources
Lvl 5 power: Taxation
All resources in the base lose 10% of their HP and resources every 5 seconds, and (naturally) a group of goblins spawns to "collect" more taxes. (Another idea to lump onto that one, or to replace the other idea: any resources that the Goblin Commander receives through this power provides the loot with an "interest rate" boost of 5% at level 5, and the percentage goes up as the lvl of the Goblin Commander goes up)
2. Giant Overlord
Melee Attacker
A Giant that has consumed enough dark elixer to grow to a massive size, and has taken it's place as lord of the giants.
Favorite target: Defenses
Lvl 5 power: Battle Shout
The Giant Overlord let's out a loud, terrifying roar, frightening all of the defenses within range and making them stop firing for a period of time. Also causes and defensive troops from clan castles to run away from attacking troops for the same period of time. Also (possibly) causes two or three more giants to spawn to join the fight.
3. Wizard Chief
Ranged Attacker
(Insert "consumed dark elixer" story here)
Lvl 5 power: Lightning Storm
Rains lightning down on a chosen spot for a period of time (period of time and damage increases with each lvl up) also (possibly) spawns a group of wizards to join the battle. Note: The chosen spot mentioned adds a "Fire Storm" spell or a lightning spell that lasts longer than usual.
NOTE: Since the Barbarian King and Archer Queen are basically mutated barbs and archers with a special power that's characteristic to their fighting style, that's what I've been meaning to achieve with these hero ideas. These powers are, hopefully, very acceptable ideas, as long as the effects of the powers (decided by the developers) are at acceptable and fair percentages.
Example: Gob. Com. Takes 10% of total loot available every 5-10 seconds, and that percentage can increase with it's level progression (12% every 10 seconds at level 5, 15% every 8 seconds at level 15,
17% every 6 seconds at level 25,
20% every 5 seconds at level 35,
25% every 5 seconds at level 40)
Giant Overlord's Battle Shout:
5 seconds disabling time at level 5,
10 seconds disabling time at level 10, and so on and so forth.
Wizard Chief's Lightning Storm:
1 lvl 1 lightning spell at level 5,
1 lvl 2 lightning spell at lvl 10,
1 lvl 3 lightning spell at lvl 15,
1 lvl 4 lightning spell at lvl 20,
2 lvl 4 lightning spells at lvl 25,
3 lvl 4 lightning spells at lvl 30,
4 lvl 4 lightning spells at lvl 35,
5 lvl 4 lightning spells at lvl 40.
