TH10 Inferno/Xbow/Splash Damage upgrade order

Hi all,

I'm a fairly new th10 sitting on approx 8m gold and I'm struggling with what to upgrade. I have both infernos at lvl 2, 2 xbows at lvl 3 and the third xbow at lvl 1, all my wizard towers and mortars are level 7.

What should I upgrade with the 8m gold and why?

I originally was going to upgrade an inferno to lvl 3 but after reading many threads on here and other places, it looks like most people are saying lvl 2 infernos are fine and to get the third xbow on it's way to lvl 3. While other threads talk about upgrading the wizard tower or mortar to lvl 8 because of the splash damage.

If it helps, I'm currently farming in Crystal 3.

I recently upgraded to TH10 (end of august) here is my upgrade order plan:

All new defenses up to current level (xbow 3, AT 11, cannon 11) - done
Infernos maxed- done
wizard towers maxed- done
xbows maxed - currently upgrading
teslas maxed - soon
mortars maxed - soon
air defense maxed - soon

Having two running Level 2 Inferno Towers will help you hold onto your loot. I'd work on that Xbow first, they start to become effective at Level 3

So did you do your wizard towers to lvl 8 before upgrading your 3rd xbow?

That's the way I'm leaning right now unless someone gives me a good reason not to.

Infernos to max, cause theyre op lol. Then wiz towers to max because they improve a lot :D

Level 1 xbows aren't great. I agree with the above comment that level is where they get good.

my opinion is the lvl 8 wizard towers are awesome. Better than the mortar, and almost as powerful as a level 1 xbow, except it's splash damage.

depends on what your other point defences are like. Xbow is going to help with Giants and golems etc, while the wiz tower helps with all the tier 1 troops.

What at did was, get my new defences to th9 max, then infernos lvl 2, then wizard towers, then xbow to 2, more wiz towers, xbow to 3, then all the mortars, then infernos to max. It seemed to work well.

If you haven't already - knock out the CC upgrade 1st.

After that, here's what I would reccomend:

1. Inferno Towers
2. X-bows
3. Wiz Towers
4. Mortars

X bows to level 4 should be literally the last defensive upgrade you do, but getting the third x bow to level 3 should be a fairly high priority.

If you have enough time, upgrade your most expensive upgrades (preferable splash damage) so you can upgrade the lower coat defence upgrades when you have less time;)

I decided to upgrade my 3rd xbow to level 2. When it finishes, I'll be ready to upgrade it to 3. Then, I'm going to focus on getting my wiz towers to 8. Thanks for all the replies!
