Reduce Clan Hoppers: Time delay for troop asking for new members

Many of us work hard to establish a good clan with the right culture. This gets disrupted when new members join and say all the right things, ask for troops and then leaves. It's my mission to stop this and hope that COC will see value in slowing down deceitful new members.

I propose a 48-72 hour period for all new members to wait before asking for troops.

Just as you have a 'cool down' period for shields, the same could be applied for new members. Make it so that they can donate to the clan but they must show some time loyalty before sending a troop request. There can be an override option for the leader only to make an exception. This will only affect those who hop with the purpose of taking troops and then leaving.

You can't spare 5 archers? Sure, it's annoying, but is 1k elixir really enough to get worked up over?

i have lvl 5 archers so those 5 archers is actually 1000 elixir not 500 :D

Oops, I was thinking level 5 barbs. Same thing either way. Neither 500 nor 1k elixir is enough to get worked up over.

Do the math

Barbs-100 x 5=500
Archers- 200 x 5= 1k

To your point it isn't much but it does add up. Some people donate small troops but I donate upgraded dragons and pekkas. Its more about principle, lying to get what you want isn't ok. Plus I want to invest in those who want to give back.

You have a point, but the part of the issue where you donate drags/PEKKAs can be avoided by only giving those troops to longtime/loyal members.
@Lol, read dahimi's post. My troops are level 5, yours are level 3. Their awesomeness increases as well as their cost.

I'm upgrading my rage spell atm. Drags and wizzies are next on the list. I've been debating whether or not to bother with healers and balloons.

Well that explains you questioning claims of people raiding 6m in a single day. You might want to reconsider this position.

Gobs are great, but I prefer barb/archer/wb. Mine are level 5 despite heavy use of barb/archers since I use a different army compo involving gobs from time to time.

Sure you can hop, visit, and donate troops to the clan. My proposal is strictly on asking for troops after a time frame. I also suggested a leader override so that new members can ask for troops right away. You obviously didn't read my original post thoroughly.

That proves my point. If it isn't obvious to you, you are using way too many giants, so you are using way more troops on those bases than you need.

You don't really need to use goblins since they take 10 seconds longer. If you are trying to maximize efficiency, it's better to use barbs.

look at the base you attacked. try this goblin attack in a base where there are level 6 mortars, wizard towers and level 3-4 tesla towers. some players they still try to attack me goblins with giants but all they can get 2k resource. Goblins are good to use before TH9

48 hours is massive amount of time to wait, especially for those who are playing for top scores. its a good idea but it should be maybe 1-2 hours
