Easy to fix this, don't use all of your troops if you don't have to.
I do agree with the half of the resources to build the troops can come to us but I also disagree with the bad grammar, and that if you felt like you needed to do a raid then you are willing to waste/use the resources...
This can be annoying, but you know any troop you drop is elixir used. It's down to you to only attack a base that is worth it. Know your cost, know your limit on what you can attack.
I would strongly agree on getting at least half your elixir back. It just doesn't make sense that at the end of every battle, the troops turn into elixir and you cant even collect them.
Yea, I would like this too, but the real issue is that people would just overkill bases with strong expensive troops that would survive come back and attack.
Unlike boom beach, CoC wasn't designed for this so supercell would have to change the entire system. Their "explanation" is that the troops are absorbed into the ground to be the elixir they were made of again if that is the case, I would like to see some percentage given back ( 10% at most)
When you are attacked and you have troops in your clan-castle, which survive the attack, they return to your clan-castle en are healed again, even when damaged. So I think when you attack and have any surviving troops, they should be returned to your army-camps.Quote:

The clan castle troops I understand. Since they deploy out of your control, it wouldn't make sense to have to do that. Although I would like the option to instantly revive defeated CC troops with an elixir fee, kind of like re-arming traps.
The elixir fee for damaged army troops i think is necessary, otherwise all-PEKKA or dragon armies could waste away village after village by all deploying at once. Since their health and damage combined is absurdly high, it would be difficult for defenses to take out even one of them before they become destroyed. Therefore giving the attacker no reason to use any other offensive strategy. Really, I just want to be able to attack a village with lots of troops saved, and not have to wait hours and spend the same elixir I just raided to re-create an army that didn't need to go away. And now not a single accomplishment was made that day.

This is ruled out with a good reason:
In BB you have to destroy the HQ to win the battle, but in CoC it's enough when you destroy 50%...
So just fill your camps with PEKKA's, attack any base, drop all of them, wait until you got 50% and surrender! You get trophier with maximum 1 PEKKA lost because after you surrendered, all of them return back to your camps...
Bad idea guys... Bad idea... (And will never gonna happen)
