I want to buy gems sometimes, not now but maybe soon. I'm from the Philippines and I don't have a credit card and I'm not planning to have one due to some of the credit card company policies. As far as I know, debit / ATM cards will not work either. so is there any other way of purchasing gems? I heard there is a google play points or google play cards and I'm not so sure if it works for COC or if it will ever work for COC.
If you are on iOS then you can use itunes card to purchase the gems, and if you are on android you can use google play card to purchase the gems. I'm not sure they have that in your country but just go to a store and ask them if they have it.

Uh, debit cards and ATM cards should work, at least if you're using iOS. I have a debit card associated with my iTunes account which I use for gems no problem

Debit cards are not check cards. A true debit or ATM card has no credit logo and is safer to use. Check cards are the debit credit hybrids which are actually pretty unsafe yo have since if you get it stolen unlike a credit card the money actually is removed from bank account which takes a while to sort out.
Anyways OP do your fold or tech stores have iTunes/ Google play gift cards avaible? If not on android you can pay with a PayPal account which PayPal can debit from a checking account directly
