Town Hall 8 Semi Troll/Farming Layout

This base has worked for me for a few months, I had a few great attacks on it, most of them took down only my TH and gave me the 12 hours shield, as expected, a few others tried going for my loot, none got more than 40% damage and just maybe a 10% of my available loot, max loot I lost over a 3 months period was 40,000 Gold and Elixir. Most of the troops deployed were crushed when trying to take the TH down due to having my mortar on the back of the same. Archer and Cannon backed up my Mortar, normally, that Mortar was the only one destroyed after a full attack on my base. So, I hope it can help. I took this design from someone else, tweaked it a bit and then turned it into my own design. I called it the "Crazyman" design.

atleast link the original designer that you "stole" it from. honestly you didnt even tweek it that much. I had a better version of this base just because I was getting triple lighting on my de and it was killing both of my mortars near the de storage which is going to happen if you dont modify yours. original designer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_xXIv2OjsY

@OP- why would you want to aggravate your enemies? You would want to increase the chances of a free shield and not provoking them by placing a mortar next to the TH. And besides, that just makes your bottom mortar exposed.

Why would that guy claim it's the world's best TH8 base design if he's not even a TH8 to prove it? Tbh it's a pretty bad base, I can see a whole bunch of flaws of the design.

have you never searched "thx(x) farming/war base/hybrid base" on youtube before? I'm assuming not, because pretty much every youtuber titles there videos Best th(x) or something like that. Also why are you asking me a question that I obviously don't know the answer to? I'm not the youtuber that made the base so how would I know why he "claims it the world's best th8 base?"

One last thing. Not that it really matters because this has nothing to do with what I was talking about, but how would you know how this base does if you've never used it before? I used this base from mid th8 up until the end. It was a very good base except for the fact that people who triple lightning the DE could take out both inner mortars, but as I stated I made it so no one could do that by still keeping the 2 mortars, de, and cc inside the base.

The base is not even symmetrical among other things. And as Dokugan said people hate TH trappers. Are you aiming for three starring your base

I'm currently a TH9, my battle logs for that base are gone, unfortunately, but for sure that base design gave the satisfaction of getting lots of shields and keeping my resources untouched. People will always try to use Lightning Spells on your DE, so, I posted this design basically because it worked for me for a long long long time.
