What to do about a premature Town Hall ?

so i have a Premature TH8, should i restart?

New to the forum but likely only going to post a couple times now that I have read these threads.

My 7 year old wanted me to load this game for him, which I did, and he has loved playing it since. He would show me all the things he was doing and building and having a lot of fun. I guess there is a lot of behind the scenes things going on as I am finding out after visiting here.

He did his best to play, thinking a part of the game was to upgrade his TH and protect it first, now he is frustrated to the point of not wanting to play anymore.

Why don't the makers explain things a little better for the younger kids? After all, I would assume they are a large part of their revenue stream, and losing them to frustration after thinking they are doing well is not good business practice.

After reading the forum I explained that its suggested that he just starts over, it doesn't look as though that is going to happen and Supercell has just lost another customer.

thats the problem. Supercell wants people to get their Townhall higher so they'll have to use more gems to progress. If they aren't gonna buy more, supercell doesn't need them anymore

That will only work until hundreds of thousands of negative comments are circulating around facebook, which I have started to see and how I found this forum.

Rather than deleting your premature village and then restarting, save the village as an alter ALT to give yourself level 6 troops to your new village.

Thanks Hannibal, really appreciate the advice. I still have a few defences and level 7 walls to go. But its a time consuming process even at TH8, wish I had known this at TH7! I currently have all 5 builders working on defences. Taking a break at wizard tower 5 and air defence 6 because they will be the longest and most expensive. Will max my archer towers together in the mean time. I almost have them all at 9.

I'm level 47 with Th lvl 7 upgrading to th lvl 8
I think it's premature but my idea is if I build th lvl 9 after the current upgrade then its about 10 days to focus on some upgrades but walls are so expensive lvl 7 is 200k each which is pointless to buy unless you gem gold

cancel upgrading and stay in TH 7. Max everything before moving to TH8. dont do the same mistake I did.

I cancelled now I'm doing defence

But still 6 days of shield guess this will help protect me while my defences are out of order
