This. I find it creepy when people ask others gender let alone a way to contact some random person from the internet.

This is a prime example of why the game needs a function to report the last, lets say, 10 mins of global chat to be reviewed by a mod. Something beyond the current "5 reports you get a day ban" thing we currently have.

The game doesn't need any work on the report function, it works just fine. What that girl needed was a 'parent' function. Funny nobody is asking where the heck the parents were during this online 'wooing' session.

Wow.... I think kids should be told not to tell personal info on social media/games.

I know there isn't a ton SC can do but maybe some filters can be added to chat? I really don't have any idea but maybe certain phrases can be banned...

Just SICK I hope he suffers the deepest punishment. ....

I'm with you in terms of sentiment, but everytime I look at global there is somebody there either asking if any girls are on, or to exchange numbers. It is why I stopped my 9 year old daughter from playing the game. I don't blame CoC in anyway, as others have said, sadly this can and does hapen all over the internet. All we can do is be vigilant, and educate our children of the dangers.

Wait what? Local police would actually do something? Even if they didn't just laugh me away, how would they track the offender? Isn't it illegal for sc to disclose that, assuming he wasn't on mobile data or a VPN?
