New to th 9? My Build order

This is a guide to help people with build order new, or half way through 9.

First things to drop new to th 9:
1)AQ de drill, xbow,
2)Air, tesla and traps,
3)walls, new storages,


Build order after new buildings are Finished and caught up to same lvl

1)anything to do with offense, and DE drills
-This also includes your heros, since heros are used on offense....
-Research lab should be first! Than start focusing some camps
2)splash towers (mortor wiz)
3)xbow, air, hidden tesla
4)big bomb trap
5)archer tower, cannon
6)other traps walls
7)collectors

Good luck to you guys hope this was helpful, if you have a different build order thats fine! prioritizes and stick with it! Will make th 9 easier if you have some set goals.

I would prioritize Xbows and Teslas over splash defense or else you will get trampled every time by tanks (heavily used in TH 9).

i see your point with teslas, but xbows are just another archer tower, unless you have them on ground range only.

Are you seriously forgetting the spell factory? Regardless if you like the jump spell or not, 1 extra spell is massive, especially in war.

Well Xbows have a very high HP, allows it to last much longer than Archer Towers. In theory, it does more damage because it lasts longer.

Lv 3 Xbow - 75 dps + 2,400 HP
Lv 11 Archer Tower - 75 dps + 750 HP

spell factory would fall under anthing to do with offense

I see your point with the xbows, personally if your walls are decent, splash towers will stop alot of attacks.

Im a max th 9 and farm out of gold league, my xbows help, but my wiz towers win defenses.

my xbows are mainly on ground to stop barching, they arent great against ballons, dragons, but good against smaller units, minions, gobs, archers, barbs, due to their fast attack speed.
Why i have them on ground.

Useless thread the correct order for defensive builders after having everything built is....
1.) XBOWS all the way to 3 non-stop upgrading
2.) Mortars
3.) Wiz Towers
4.) Air Defences
5.) Archer Towers
6.) Cannons
7.) Teslas

if you follow build order and what you can afford, you most likely will beable to afford xbow 2s before maxing wiz towers thanks for your input let me know when you make it to masters

You are forgetting the price.... Xbows in my opinion are terrible. Nothing special to them except that they are a pain in the butt to upgrade

Price shouldn't be a factor for upgrade priority at all. If you can't afford it, then move on to the next defense on the list.

With that said, I currently have 2 Xbows upgrading to lv 3, 2 days apart.

stopped reading here, this is awful advice

1. you drop the AQ immediately. you start at 40k full from TH8.
2. you then drop xbows, preferably 1 instantly all queued up
3. then focus on generic defenses, along with ADs slight > tesla unit the AD is at least level 4

Also...
the DE drill is nearly useless to a competent player and needs 4 layers of upgrades to be worth anything
walls come dead last

well it is common to build a hero when ever you have a chance, sorry i will add AQ to that list.....

useless order do more research and learn to read.

teslas last? why they are one of the most powerful defenses on single targets for th 9, and take up a 2x2 space.... and the cost is nothing.
