Thanks for all the positive feedback. I am working on getting this stickied
Great thread! This really should be stickied.
well explained... 😉
This reasoning makes no sense. It's VERY necessary, because the reason you gave is NOT why people want to stop their CC from defending. It's specifically for wars.Quote:
*Modify clan castle – toggle defend/not defend (like heroes) - This is unnecessary; if you wanted it to defend, you would request before leaving. If you wanted to attack, you request attacking troops and attack.
Lets say I plan on attacking in a few hours, and I need a golem. Golems are expensive and take forever to build, and I need to log off. So I'll put out the request for my golem, set my barracks to build my Gowipe, and log off. Now I'm attacked and my golem stupidly goes out to defend and gets killed. So now when I come back I have to request AGAIN and wait another 45 min for a golem, assuming someone is even willing to give me a second one! This is why we need a toggle to turn our CC off.
I really don't know how you don't already know this, as you seem to know a ton about clash, but there you go. Consider yourself educated. You're welcome.

The problem is that you request troops in clan chat, you get them, and then you get raided outside of clan war. Now u have to request, get donations...it gets tiring to be in a clan...
This was the only reason we could scrape out. It's likely that this ruled out idea was made before clan wars. We still have to do it though to match with the sticky. If you want to get an answer ask supercell or one of the mods.
Stickie this please. Or supercell modify your ruled out ideas thread to explain
Good thread. :)
