GoWiPe timed out, what to do different?

This has been happening to me a good bit lately, I have a 3 star in the bag but time out. What would you guys do differently? Im going in with 2 Golems 3 Pekkas a few wall breakers and the rest Wizzys. Heres an example of me timing out:

Eh I will be crucified by the gowipers but yea... Stop using it imo it doesn't scale.

gowiwi is better if u must use a go strat

GoWiPe runs out all the time... nothing you can really do.

i am only th8 and have never attacked with gowipe yet but as i have seen on youtube i think you should spread out your attack more. One golem near the 2 corners followed with 1-2 pekkas and a few wizards. Maybe this can help you.

I am Th9 and have a 4/5/3 gowipe but am really not impressed by pekkas at all. If you can get them to go into the core they get torched by the high lvl teslas that most people put there. I am upgrading witches now but would a 4/5/1 gowiwi be better while I wait?

Im definitely open to trying GoWiWi ive just been afraid to because ive seen how fast I can get 20 some wizzys toasted in the past. I felt like those meat shields were needed thats why I always go 2/3 Go/Pe or 3/2 depending on who I was attacking but if you guys think that I will be better off with Witches instead of Pekkas, mind pointing me to a nice strat guide on the attack? Id be interested in trying.

I really struggled with Pekkas at first as they are stubborn and like to walk the outside for me, but I learned you kinda gotta give them a path that they cant vier off of. At 300 attack pts and 3500 dp they are beastly tanks

You took a whole minute killing CC... That is WAY too long. 1/3 of your raid already gone!

You're using 2 Heal Spells; I would use all Rage or at least swap 1 Heal for another Rage. If deployed properly the Golems should provide ample cover for the Wiz to work. Golems and Pekkas have plenty health.

The Pekkas are awesome, but one thing she is not, is fast. If you let them slow fellows wodder around at their own pace you are gonna run out of time. Again, Rage > Heal.

Another option is to try GoWiWiPe. Have a pair of Witch2s in your CC; once you've baited enemy CC to a corner release a few barbs as cover, CC Witches (maybe a Withc or 2 of your own too; I use a total of 4 as a TH10), AQ, and 4 Wiz behind them will blitz anything in the enemy CC. As soon as the enemy CC are tangled wit skeles you can release your Golems and the main forces. With practise you can release the entire army in the space of seconds, more time on the field = more time do cause damage!

I can only show you my videos here as a TH10, but rest assured this strategy has worked for the TH9s in my clan.

I've only used GoWiPe a few times but I deploy my Gols as soon as I lure the CC.
That lets them get a head start while I kill off the CC troops. Picks up 5-10 seconds
I also drop my CC troops opposite my main gowipe force to pick off the other side

So you dont worry to much about trying to reduce the casulties suffered from their CC? Thats why i took my time baiting them so that I knew that the worst that would happen is I loose archers, not my wizzys and such. Ill try this next time though.

Plenty of dps, hp and skeletons to get you that third star.

If you looked at how I dealt with the enemy CCs. The only casualty were like 3 barbs. The Witches provided the cannon fodders for the CC whilst the AQ and Wiz snapped them up! You used 24 Archers in your raid. That is the space of 2 Witches. Archers die; Witches if deployed properly stay alive the whole raid providing you with endless Skeletons.

Then once the CC is on its way towards the lure spot, throw down CC and 2 witches, Slam with golems pekka and wizzys right away just like you did in the videos

Oh yea and you really need to space out your Golems. There is no point having them in the same spot. You need to sweep in like a battlefront and look at it in the perspective of area of coverage. Each of my Golems are covering an area behind it of which the Wizards will clear the flanks where my center forces are the Pekkas and Heroes aiming for the core.

If you your entire army enter in one point through a bottleneck you are creating a single point of focused fire. You are flanking yourself. lol

Pack a few barbs and replace the 2 archers with Barbs in CC. This is because CC troops targets first target they see. I have made the mistake of dropping a Witch first, the Wiz ignored the Skeles and killed the Witch first. This is why I pack Barbs as a little buffer before deploying the rest.

EDIT: Archers same range and bundles up with Witch so don't help on that front.

You can bring an extra rage spell or two. And you cant spend half your attack on the CC troops. Good luck!

As a TH 8, I GoWiPe in every war for at least 4 stars vs TH 9's. I've been doing this for over a month straight, and we war twice a week. Personally, I don't lure the enemy CC. I use it to help draw my troops straight to the core, then either a) let my wizards + rage/heal take them out, or b) use a lightning spell. You could argue that enemy wizards will hurt Golems, which is true, but if you're very quick and skilled with deployment than your wizards should shred theirs quickly. My spell composition is 2 rage 1 heal OR 2 rage 1 lightning. For a TH 9, I'd recommend 2 rage 1 heal 1 jump for a base with lots of funneling/compartments/distractions, or 3 rage 1 heal, 2 rage 1 heal 1 lightning.

I always bring 3 rage and 1 heal just for that reason. Pekkas will tear through walls so I only bring 8 wall breakers. I also think that you are bringing too many archers. I bring 10 max and then the rest wizards.
