Okay, so I'm a TH8 but still hasn't got BK.
I didn't use to raid a lot for loot, and I was not used to the new dark elixir thing.
And noow, since I'm a TH8, and have got a Dark Elixir Drill, I can manage to get up to about 1000 dark elixir if I don't raid much for DE, but if I DO raid for DE I am getting up to 5k.
So I am asking how long do YOU take to get 10k or maybe even 20k de?
And do you know any leagues that are great for farming de? I am trying to do that in Silver I atm.
It takes me 5 hours to raid 12k de, don't even bother farming de in Silver, too slow and noobs will zap you a lot. Just stay at gold 2+. The higher the league, the easier it is to raid de.
i think it would depend. if you focus on farming DE you can loot 10K DE easy on a day. As the post above me it would be best to go up on a higher league as there are more DE to loot.
10K DE? round 3-4 Hours Maybe 2h30m If Im Lucky.
I'm sitting in Gold 2 and I just started farming DE. Still working on good techniques for farming it, but right now it would take me about 4-5 hours to farm 10k de.
2 hours with BARCH and 2 Barracks boosted. I also bring up Rage spells.
One session of 2 hrs for me with barch. ;)
I never farm explicitly for De but on a good day ill get 10-15k de.
Without raiding, just using DE drill (lvl 3), it takes 10 days to get 10k DE. But people can raid you and take your DE :cool:
So about 21 mins boosted farming in Masters 2.

i can save about 20-30k per day including what comes from my drills
I'd say a couple hours, maybe 3.
I am also a TH8 (max base) and I recommend moving up to Crystal 3 or above. Around 2100 trophies, I only get TH sniped or raided by TH10 who can't even take much more than 1,000 a pop. And I have about 65k DE on hand too with full gold storages (and collectors getting there), so you know I'm a juicy target.

If you can make it to Crystal Leagues, you're in DE heaven. Tough as a beginning 8 to stay up there. You will read folks on the forum saying " couple of hours" or "a day or two". Unless you play for hours at a stint, gem boost troops, or use DE troops / high level heroes...unlikely. Plus after 10k DE you're gonna be raided ... 20k count on being raided.
Without the bonus, Crystal 3 you should expect 600-800/raid. Average in the loot loss in attacks against you.
Elixir isn't abundant in crystal, so calculate an elixir shortage building armies, and whatever your turn time is between armies. As an advanced TH8 playing in Crystal II, I figure my times for DE as three days per 10k ... With loot losses taken into account.
Without any boosting, 10k DE is more than half a day of raiding.
That would be ~10 attacks or 6 hours using Loonion (non-boost) which allows for 30 minutes or more break between attacks.
Farming DE with barch goes more quickly, but also requires nearly constant attention with lots of nexting and more frequent attacks.
With boosted barracks I'd estimate it takes me around 90 minutes to farm 10k DE with barch.
EDIT: I'm TH9 and I do not use heroes. I usually barch in 1800-2100 range, and Loonion higher up, maybe 2100-2450 range.

Really depends. Are you boosting your bases? How strong are your troops? How patient are you with hitting "NEXT" and choosing well. When I farm for DE, sometimes I'll see what looks like an easy storage but then my troops somehow attack everything around it.
So if you're focused on it and want to boost your troops and if elixir doesn't matter and you have lots of it, you can blast away. If you have to be careful with your elixir and need to use Barch, that can be different. Also it depends if you want to be a zapper. You can get 200-500 DE per attack pretty easily that way, but expect for some tough revenge attacks to come back at you.

Depends. On a super lucky day have done that in 2 consecutive Barch before. Usually more like 3 hours of no boost constant Barch though.

Well i am town hall 8 also and i use balloons and minions to farm. So it probably takes me around 8-10 hours to farm that much dark elixir if im really focused. Gold 2+ is very good for dark elixir espesially with balloonian.
Go to Crystal III took me an hour and thirty minutes to get 7000 dark elixir. Not even boosting my barracks.:D

make it 2 hours with ease with boosted barracks in any league gold and up, without boosted barracks take a day, not counting drills
On average, 2 hours without boosting barracks and with a simple BAM army composition.
5 or 6 days at TH7. Boo yah.

if all you raid is 7-8 times a day of course not, if that's all your raiding step your game up,lol, I easily raid once hour, if not as soon as my army is done which btw take 35-40 mins, and nexting for 10 mins to 40 mins, come on. I have never nexted for 10 mins. and I never said evryday, but when I am focused on making only dark easily make that in a day.Quote:
