I think it would be helpful for the builder to be boosted 10 gems he builds 4x's faster i would be more willing to spend that the 400 gems to finish something.

Welcome to the forums! This idea has been suggested a lot.
Read the stickies in the "Ideas and Feature Requests" thread (Top and they're in yellow)
Also this idea would make SC lose money.

That would be very helpful, but we know its not gonna happen anytime soon!
