The Conqueror- New DE troop

So another idea, people are frequently requesting things that turn defenses/CC troops against the defender, and this is just my take on that idea.

Name of Troop :The Conqueror
Training Cost : 175 DE
Training Time: 9 minutes
Housing Space: 10
Damage per second: 75 DPS
Hit Points: 300 HP
Movement Speed: 12
Description: Once a Wasteland Warlord, He will destroy anything in his path, but will never pass up the chance to overcome Defensive Towers.

Ability: Any Defenses that are destroyed within a 3-4 tile radius of The Conqueror will be taken over by this troop. His DPS and range will be augmented to fit the controlled tower, however, He cannot leave the tower once taken over. HP will still be the same, so it doesn't become too OP.

Comment what you will please, anything and everything is appreciated!

EDIT: Other Concerns Regarding the Conqueror:
-No, It will not affect CC troops whatsoever,
-He would be a melee fighter, and currently on the hunt for a pic (I'm at work and had to post this lol)
-OverTaken Towers would literally be the same Tower, However instead of Archers/Wizards atop AT and WT, it would be the Conqueror. Cannons, Mortars, X-Bows, and Infernos (If you can get him that far in the basehttp://forum.supercell.net/images/smilies/rolleyes.png) would just have him standing beside it, or manning it.
-Yes when he overtakes a tower, he becomes positioned where he is, but his DPS gets ramped up equal to the DPS of the tower, For example if he takes over a level 7-8 Archer tower, he would be standing on top, firing arrows down at (48+75 Dps=) 123 DPs total. Same concept for all levels of defense and other towers.
-These guys aren't that big of troops, Their relatively low HP makes em weak against 4 max mortars and such so you cant just bring them en masse. Also since their targeting is Any Building, they won't go straight for the nearest defense and Overtake it.

Wow, interessting concept although I didn't see this concept earlier...

A few questions/suggestions:
- is he a meele fighter or a ranged?
- He can't take over CC troops, can he? It would be a bit... Weird and not logic! ;)
- I'd give him 12 Movement Speed (like the giant), 20 is a bit too much, because he would be non-stop in the front of the battle and gets fast killed! If he is slower he gets more time to take over a tower without dieying before...
- Do you have a concept art? If not, try to describe how you think he should look like!
- And how would an over taken tower looks like?

To the concept:
I rlly like that idea, but it not rly makes sense... When it takes over a tower it would just be a positioned troop with the same stats of the conqueror but a bigger range? This is not very much, you know what I mean?
What about adding some more special features?
Maybe each over taken tower doesn't shots his normal shots, but huge fireballs casted by the conqueror 'inside' the tower wich deal splash DMG!

I'd also think, that each over taken tower targets CC troops if in range!

AND you should make a limit for over taken towers! You CAN take x conquerors but in an attack only 3 towers can get over taken at the same time! So if 3 towers are over taken, the other conquerors CAN'T take over new towers, but as soon as an over taken tower fells, the others CAN take over towers again!

I also made it so that because he has relatively low HP, you could only send him in as Support with a couple tanks to distract the target while he moves in, Cant just storm in with 20 of these guys lol. I'm gonna nerf the Speed a little tho, makes sense what you said.

But I'd anyway make a limit for over taken towers... If you just got 6 of them with you and all of them would over taken a tower it would be too OP because of the high DPS! Do you know what I mean?

By the way, how does it work with the life of an over taken tower? The same like with the DPS (720 + 300 = 1020HP)?

Another good question! No his hp will remain at 300 while he is overtaking a Tower.
I do understand about the DPS, so in that case, only One Conqueror can overtake a tower at a time. These guys aren't that big of troops, Their relatively low HP makes em weak against 4 max mortars and such so you cant just bring them en masse. Also since their targeting is Any Building, they won't go straight for the nearest defense and Overtake it.

What if this was a Hero though? (Or meant to be one).

i didn't want to limit the Conqueror to only one tower (Even though his name suggests There Can Only Be One). That way people can come up with different strategies to protect your troops by having these guys OverTake certain Defenses

i think a conqueror should just be able to take one tower and he'd stay there untill the end of the battle. He gets tower range and increase it's damage but the attack spped of the tower goes to half of it, but keep splash damage/multiple target damage. If he gets an xbow, thetower damage will be 1/5 of the usual, but the attack speed will keep the same and if he gets a inferno tower, the tower will attack at max 2 targets and will attack once per two seconds or if the tower its at 1 target the damge will go up just to 3 times of the starting damage. The conqueror won't use the elixir/de used by those towers (if the conqueror get them, they won't spend resources attacking theyer own village) tell me what you think about this and if you think its a good idea, add it to yuor first post ;)

Realistically speaking, these troops will most likely never be able to penetrate the furthest layer of a solid TH10/9, Unless you dedicated Freeze spells and Jump Spells just for him, then he would be killed beforehand. GoWiWi/WiPe with the Conqueror could potentially see the troop make it all the way, but with Golems and Wizards/Hero's dealing heavy damage and pulling troops in towards the center to take out these meddlesome towers, they'll be gone before the Conqueror can get to it. And if they did get to it, i think that the DE/elixir cost for the Inferno and X-bow respectively, should cost the defender a little at that TH level refill costs shouldn't be that detrimental.

so if there are two equal distance and a tower is destroyed, who gets to control it? Also, what if they walk past an already destroyed defense, what happens then?

Only one gets to Overtake the tower, the other would go on and attack the nearest structure. If they walk past an already destroyed tower, nothing would happen, they would walk past it and not do anything. In that light, you can't just spawn mass giants and these guys behind them as they attack any structure and giants/hogs for straight for defenses.

do the towers count as destroyed then if they are still standing or maybe there could be a time limit of like 10 seconds before he could move on. Once one gets out of a tower, it is officially destroyed

Towers can only be overtaken if there is a Conqueror in the specified range, and at the instant that it is destroyed. Also, once a Conqueror Overtakes a tower, He doesn't leave. He will stay in until his HP is depleted. Also, all DE troops have an innate ability/advanced AI sort of deal, mine just happens to have a name for it
