You seem to have missed it as well, do you really need to check a lvl 5s base to know that he is not ready to join your clan?
I would obviously check the base if they have a decent enough level and then deside but its just so annoying looking at every persons base when they try to join you clan.
I agree completly, but i fail to see how not showing levels in the chat could possibly acomplish that.
The only way i can see that would improve this is improving the leaguebonuses.
Logical actions... Lets see, if they do it in the next few updates but...... isn't another logical method would be listening to the mass feedbacks, right?
People complain because they still like the game even though the fun factor has decreased due to the change. Does the game has to be bad enough to quit for people to complain? Look at Netflix trying to separate their service by adding qwister.... Some would agree with netlix and say its "logical reasoning" or "just a few clicks away", yet their business suffered and guess what? No qwister. Why? Because the mass's opinion matter.and because not all business decisions are logical.
If i am quitting, i would just delete the game and not bother with this forum. As a business you would rather see people's frustration and complaints rather than wondering why there are less actives... You don't need to defend a company, their actions should show through their employees' response and their updates. Personally, I came for the game and staying for the people. At the end of the day, its not about how much you agree with sc, but how much sc listens because the core of any business is customer satisfaction. Yes, you can't please everyone but you have to try or has this philosophy of customer satisfaction abadoned because they are sc? No? Ok, so let them take that responsibility.
If SC are genuine about pushing trophies - why is there a TH Loot Penalty? If the 'herd' moves up, then the issue regarding TH is rendered useless. There is no incentive to gain trophies at present, there are insufficient matches, the cost of producing troops to battle and then the actual loot received from a successful battle all make this a pointless exercise. You've also made pekka and dragons weaker, while steadily increasing the number of defensive buildings for TH9. You've also given TH9 Archer Queen, and an additional xbow, as if one wasn't enough.
However, in this last update SC actually increased TH loot penalty. Therefore negating any push towards trophies.
Anytime SC takes loot out of the game, they want players to gem resources.
SC - if you honestly want us to go for trophies, then you also need to remove the loot penalities, I started this game before the major updates. There was a time when the whole community did not know about farming (thanks Pedro your my hero!) and the focus was on trophies. However, at that time, there was no TH loot penalty, and in fact you could raid the full amount in storage as well as in pumps and mines.
If you want a return to these glory days of chasing trophies, then you have to give something back, and that something is loot, remove the TH penalties, removing the loot cap, give us something that we can truly be proud of, the ability to boast about the massive loot haul we've obtained.
Otherwise, I am going to farm all the newbie bases and they will complain here about Level 80 player picking on noobs - they wont even mention badge because right now, I'm badgeless in protest!
There is no way you're getting so many join applications that two taps is a major nuisance. But in off chance you are, that probably means you're part of a top well known clan. I'm also in a really well known clan and the number of applications we get doesn't make this very prohibitive. However, assuming that is the case for you, develop an application process. Force interested parties to post their level in their join application if they want to be considered.
Consider it a good way of weeding out less interested parties. Either way, they have said the levels aren't coming back. Work around it.
Removing levels from the badge doesn't accomplish that, what it does is highlight the increased focus on trophies being a status symbol. I agree, increasing the league bonuses is the way to go. I'm certain that is exactly what they will do.
Because if Supercell gradually reduces available loot while simultaneously increasing the league bonuses, people will have to chase trophies in order to make ends meet. This will make trophies extremely valuable.
If you remove the loot penalties people will never value trophies. You have to have both the stick and the carrot. You have discourage people from dropping trophies while also giving them another avenue for success.
Well i dont know if we are a top well known clan but we recieve alot of requests from very low lvl people all the time, it could be because alot of people in my clan are active in global.
The only way to stop this would be to implement lvl requirements to apply to a clan which will never happen considering the direction they are taking, I have already written a lvl requirement in the description but people request anyway.
And this also affects reqruiting in global in the same way.
Im sure they will tweak the league bonuses but I doubt it will be much. This is free resources we are talking about and SC has proven to be less than generous by their actions up to this point. Any bonus under 10,000 is a non-factor to me and most others. The steps between league bonuses must be larger to get people to want to move up. Give DE as a bonus at lower levels. People would raise trophies to collect DE with each win but as it is you pretty much need to be a decent TH9 to get to 2200 trophies for that. Make it more reasonable for TH7 & 8 to get that bonus and you will see more people going for wins instead of only resources.
I never used the word conspiracy but I certainly do consider it underhanded to hide the negative consequences that go along with increasing your TH level and trophies. They continue to push higher trophies as success but in reality success is upgrading your base as quickly as possible. Chasing trophies makes no sense til you are a well established TH9 but SC is making it seem like the only measure of success. Then they keep altering the game during successive updates to make acquiring resources more time consuming. I'm sure many people have enough free time to just raid more when the loot is reduced. However it is affecting many that were playing perfectly fine before. Not everybody playing is in school with 4+ free hours to play a day. So I'm waiting and hoping they make a change for the better in the next update because this last one has been a slap in the face.
