We demand to have our levels back

They're not trying to destroy farming. The conspiracy theory stuff hurts your cause.

Most games have a difficulty which ramps up into end game. This is arguably still a pretty easy game even at max level. Problems arise when people jump right to TH9 skipping earlier TH levels.

Honestly I don't know what to make of the rest of the laundry list. Yes, it's a for profit company. Yes, they're trying to make trophies more important and they're doing it at the expense of one of the only other quantitative status metrics - level.

It's still a pretty fun game though and farming is still pretty easy even at max level. The nature of their development is that CoC always seems to be a work in progress. Enjoy the ride and try not to lose too much sleep over this stuff. It's a game, not a religion.

Two of those ideas are game breaking. Two of them probably have significant technical hurdles.

The only one that isn't either of those is assigning multiple builders. However, speeding up buildings with gems is probably a key revenue source for them so it makes sense to not allow people to do it with multiple builder assignment.

I play because i like to. Started off lots of fun but I'm downgrading it to pretty fun after this last update. If they keep choking off resources I will find something else. This game is tough enough to fit in my busy life as it is!

What I was getting at is that while sometimes they listen to players and add what we want, they have a vision for the game. People can request donating resources all day long and it will never happen.

If they keep choking off resources everyone will find something else. If they want to go in the direction they are going in, they have no choice but to tweak the league bonuses. It's very logical to conclude they will do that. Why else add them if they aren't going to treat them like another dial they can turn?

This talk of some sort of underhanded conspiracy on the part of Supercell is silly. The fact that this underhanded behavior doesn't bother you enough to quit, and you still rate the game as "pretty fun" means that they probably aren't as bad as you are making them out to be.

Not driving me insane no, but you must agree that its very annoying to haveto visit everyones base to know if they have progressed enough to be in your clan? And the number is not pointless, you can spam donations and raise your level but if i see someone under lvl 30 i know they have not progressed far enough to keep up with the rest of the clan.

Well i think that the leagues would cover this aspect if the bonuses was even near decent, having your lvl by your name would not change this.

Keep up with the rest of the clan how? If you have min troop requirements you'd have to check their base to see if they meet them anyway.

Well i think that the leagues would cover this aspect if the bonuses was even near decent, having your lvl by your name would not change this.

No because viewing their base would be a necessary step for me anyway. Supercell wants people to focus on trophies and have those be the valued statistic in the game. They want that league badge to represent status.

It's easy for me to understand why that would be. I think it's very safe to assume they are going to tweak those bonuses to make them more attractive. Probably while also reducing available loot.

Think of the problems doing that solves. It solves the issue of strong players attacking weaker ones. It also solves the issue of weaker players having a much larger capacity to gain loot. This game needs loot and status to be tied to a desire to gain trophies. It's ridiculous that the game doesn't currently function that way.
