I think SuperCell needs to start changing its ways, at least a little.

I'm not a huge fan of all the changes they have made as of late, but I don't think they are as big of a deal as everyone it making them out to be.

What I do notice is that 95% of threads started these days are about how many players dislike the new changes and how the gameplay isn't as fair as it should be. I think SuperCell needs to make some changes -at least enough to make it so that the game is enjoyable for the minority (the non-gemmers) and so that the general chat can go back to having more threads that reflect positivity.

Now that the update has passed it is a lot easier to gain resources so I'm unsure why people are still complaining. Only issue I have are the levels disappearing from chat, but I'm getting used to it. Everyone hates change.

ill never get used to it ;( i still hope for them to be restored
edit: or that supercell choses to combine lvl and league into one badge (what i want the most)

Yeah I think everyone wants the league level badge, it would be a great addition. :)

I think you have it backwards. I think everyone who plays this game needs to change their ways. The fact that the majority of people on the forums are complaining about one thing after another does not change the fact that (us forum members) make up only about a fraction of a percent of all total players. No company will be able to please all of their customers. With that said, Supercell DOES listen in on our thoughts and sometimes decides to use our ideas. People just get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ off when they don't take THEIR ideas. People need to learn how to adapt.

I would love the badge and level too. supercell should just forget about divisions and the tally marks and they should put our levels on our league badge. it would make everyone happy. lets emphasize EVERYONE, because that's what everyone is complaining about the most.

To paraphrase (John Maxwell, I think), if Fred has a problem with the world, Fred is the problem. I believe you have it backwards.

You then go on to make the point that forum members are not representative of the community of c of c players - so how did you ascertain that everyone who plays the game needs to change their ways?

People don't come to the forum to rave about supercell. They just come here to complain. It may as well be called a "complaint board".

The fact that there are complaints here does not indicate that supercell is doing anything wrong.

In fact, the only indication of how they are doing can be found on their bank statements (which says they're doing alright).

So did companies such as Zynga now look at them from what I gather the complaints are getting more common recently, supercell should listen I mean I sent supercell an email over a month ago to their support and am yet to get a reply as soon as a game comes along that can match coc ill Definatley be gone at the current rate

Comparing zynga's business decisions to supercell's is like saying Wells Fargo and Capital One are analogous because "they both do financial stuff". Zynga isn't in the state it's in because their help desk didn't respond to inquiries quickly enough.

that said, I've heard enough complaints about SC customer service to think that maybe they need to take heed.

not sure the meat of your comparison makes sense, but the essence of your message should not be lost on SC staff. Devote more man hours to customer service. Surely the seven-figure daily revenue can squeak out another person on the end of a phone to talk to a person with a problem...?

This is very vague. And I don't think they need to make things easier for non-gemmers, but they definitly shouldn't make things harder (ie, lowering the loot %)

All we can do for now is rolling with it till next update
To see what they have up the sleeve based off all the
Reviews etc. Hopefully leagues will be a success with some tweaks!
If it continues to stay the same tho im sure a lot will keep quitting.

Dont agree with this. Firstly, people who come here does represent the majority cos we have all kinds of Players at all levels talking. this is quite an achievement for supercell as it bolsters its social network. Secondly, a lot of positive things are said on this forum. Lastly, a lot of people label a statement a statement as a complaint...just cos what is said goes against their belief, experience or wishes, when it really isnt a complaint.

They wont change it. You got to realize their intention is to move the demographic skew to the right on the trophy tables. How can they do that if they incentivize the current status quo...

When they reduce available loot, people complain that they can't raid as much. When they increase the available loot, people complain that they get raided too much.

There will always be complaints. If a company tried to respond to every complaint, they would just run in circles.

no complaints here

im not ♥♥♥ kissing supercell but since the update and even before ive never had any problems raiding. I still make an average 150k - 300 a raid someitmes more both on gold and elix. as far as the lvl and badges go it doesnt bother me..

But like I said that's just me :)

I really don't find the updated loot percentages bad at all either. Farming is all well for me in Gold III and has been for at least a week.
