as long as there are not too many structures around the AD to absorb some of the lightning damage. The following videos shows 3 level 3 lightning spells taking out a level 4 ad.
Yes but...The above comment is incorrect reasoning. Nothing to do with surrounding blgs. See my guide in link in signature. You must get a direct hit. That is the key.

I used them directly on the level 5 AD and worked like a charm. I'd rather use the lightning spells over any others (while my husband only prefers rage) ... Both work for us in our own ways, I guess. Can't wait to upgrade the lightning to lvl 4!
