An OFFENSIVE mortar?

An Offensive mortar would be amazing.
One that you can bring to the battle field... for a price of course...

TH7: One catapult
TH8: Two Catapults
TH 10: Three Catapults

Lvl 1:
5K Gold to bring to battle field
20 damage per shot
Speed same as defensive mortar
15 minutes to rebuild
Lasts 20 seconds

Lvl 2:
10K Gold
30 damage per shot
20 min to rebuild
Lasts 30 seconds

Lvl 3:
15K Gold
40 damage per shot (Increased speed: x1.5)
30 min to rebuild
Lasts forever (health: 500)

UPGRADE COST TO LEVEL 2: 2 million Gold (24 hours)
UPGRADE COST TO LEVEL 3: 4 million Gold (3 days)

The only problem I have with it is that you have spells and troops in clash, not catapults, so I'm not sure how it would work out in the community

its a good idea, sounds like the gunboat in boom beach... im indifferent sounds a little to inexpensive too... but with modifications it might work

If this happens, I wouldn't need to bring so much troops.
This mortar logically would have a range longer or same as the enemy mortar (i'll just distract his with barbs then i'm clear)

not a bad idea. but why make it so complicated

Why make it so complicated.
Just make it a new dark troop with 20 housing space, 11 tiles range. Instead of gold train them with DE.
Timing in battle is quite interesting. In order to avoid being too OP, it will explode after 20 secs lv1, 30 secs lv2, 40 secs lv3. DPS should be around 50-80 to be of any use against 2000 hitpoint buildings.
