So I've just hit Town Hall 8, and I'm still in the same trophy range as I was at Town Hall 7, but the resources seem to have reduced significantly. So first off I want to ask should I just BARCH throughout Town Hall 8, or are their other strategies that are cost/time effective for a Town Hall 8.
And what trophy range should I be sitting at? I'm currently in the 1400-1500's
Nothing much changes when you go from TH 7 to 8. Juts use Barch like you did before but on TH 7s. After upgrading your troops to level 5, they'll be enough to 50% a TH 7 & get enough resources from them. Or you can try the Garch, a few Giants with Archers & Ofc, wbs. Stay around Gold 1 & you'll find good enough bases.

Alright thanks, In currently in Gold 3, ill head into Gold 2 until my barb/arch are lvl 5 then progress into Gold 1
Also try BAM attack (barbs, archs, minions) after upgrading minions.
How much Dark Elixir does 1 BAM attack usually cost? Aren't we suppose to be saving Dark Elix at TH8 to upgrade barb king and start dark troop research?
1 BAM attack costs about 150-200 DE. Although you should try out only Barch but some people go for BAM because the DE loot available in Gold 1 is good enough to make profit even after using a BAM attack. It solely depends on you. & since you have a drill as well, it's not the same as TH 7. You make more DE per day then you did before.Quote:
