Hey Guys! I'm back with a new shop. In this shop I'm going to be experimenting with a new style of work. I will be making sigs and banners that look like they are past their prime. If this interests you please feel free to request. Although, with this new style I will not be able to make signatures at the rate I used to make them please be patient as I will only be able to make a few a day.

Rules:

Hi all! Im Awesomenesss, but you can just call me Sam (if you want, you can say that thats what i go by on my YT channel). I am a beginner GFXer, using Photoshop CS2. My examples currently are not great, but i have improved, and made my own Youtube side banners! Hope you are all happy with your signatures!

Hey,i'm alaa I've been doing gfx for about 3-4 weeks ,so obviously i'm still learning but i put my 100% effort on to my work ,signatures will take me from 30 min to one hour ,but that doesn't i will start it as soon as you request ,so please be patient.

I dont know if ur the sorta person that loves doing what they want and to be creative, but if u are, can u please make me a sig that says cocboii, with a 1px border. The rests is up to u, the render and background :). I cant wait to see what u came up with.

I know how your red ballon sig and all look like, but others might not...

I am accepting practice sigs and my examples space is empty because i have not used my new technique with any sigs yet.

I would say just make some test ones with names from people in your clan. That's what I did to make examples before I had work up. Good luck with your shop! :)

Attention:
I will no longer be adding text to my work as I am horrible at it. If you would like text in your work if you take my work and ask another GFX artist to add some text I'm sure you would probally find someone that would be willing to add it.

Add some shadows - there is lighting but no shadow, the text is hard to see, and the font is wrong, im not liking the texture either, build up some adjustment layers and fractals, fill up the foreground as well.

If you want the text to pop more I would suggest giving the text an outline in a different color (See my sig with black text and siliver stroke for example)

Practice sig:

background: whatever looks good
render: a cartoon piece of poop
text: Poop
anything else: a thin black border

Even if he gives the text a stroke, the font, size and placement is still wrong.

Finished it, there were supposed to be gold storages in the background but my effect blurred them out, if you don't like the look of it I'll understand.

Yeah, I can do this, since I'm not at home I won't be able to fix it until tomorrow though. I'm on my laptop and all of my .xcf files are saved on my computer at home.

Hello! I am Pieman, the forum representative for the clan Ascendancy! I have recently started getting our clans name out there on the forum, and would love a banner for the thread i have put together.

Here is the request form!

What I want- Clan banner
Who I want to make it- Whoever gets to it first, you both do great work from what i see.
Background- I don't have a specific picture, nor a specific idea for one, all i ask is that the background be more than just a solid color background, and stick to a darker color palette such as black, dark red, dark blue, etc....
Text- Ascendancy
Subtext- Would like this very small in the bottom right corner, Clan Tag- #8GVRY88Q
Render- Witch with skeletons, as well as the green clan shield with white zig zags
Anything else- I leave a lot of creative freedom to you in this one, just make it look awesome, and thanks so much for your time and effort! We all appreciate your work!

Here's a sig for you to start off! I requested the same thing from awesomeness but would like to see your take on the sig! Excited to see what you can do! Also, If you would like to make a clan banner for me let me know and ill request one from you as well! Good luck!

What i want- Signature!
Who i want- Alaamo! (:
Background- No specific background i need, just a Cool looking background, stick to darker colors (Black, Dark red, Dark blue, etc...)
Text- Pieman
Subtext- Clan Ascendancy!
Render- Max golem mainly, Max loons/mins on there would be nice too if possible!
Anything else- A little TM sign next to Clan Ascendancy!

Defo not a poster? Because banners and posters are two different things. I'm rubbish at posters but I'm okay at banners. Regarding tuts- head onto you tube and follow tuts on background effects, text effects, etc. The majority of what I've learnt is from Youtube, GFXR and deviant art.
