This game is a money pit

why not set aside a portion of your salary every month to buy gems? its easier to play this way.

I buy iTunes gift cards with credit card points so I can well afford to buy my way through the laboratory and walls but even though I'm impatient, that kinda kills the fun of it.....

I have no money to spend on games, but also, I think its more fun if I build a village without help of real money. I think I belong to the 1% of the community that actually havent spent a cent on this game. I was tempted to use a few bucks to buy the 5th builder, but at high levels upgrades costs alot so 4 builders is just enough to keep all builders busy.

I dont know why people have to spend hundreds on this game, there just no need to. At most send a few dollars on the builders but to speed up builders is just crazy. I mean if you gem everything to the max theres nothing left to do and you quit.

Dude, you're my HERO! What you did takes some serious patience and planning. If I want to avoid buying more gems
( spent $170 already) I will try faming only and if I have to quit to go to bed and risk being raided then so be it.
By the way, I totally agree that it is more fun to play without gems but I was too impatient and my impatience won out. But now my practical side is taking over and I just can't see dumping more money into the game so a farming I will go.....thanks for the link.

I've looted 1,250,000 in 3 hours of hardcore farming. But that stretched my attention span and I had to take an extended break...

I am not afraid at all if i turn off my ipad. When i get raided i barely lose any resources unless its a full dragon or full pekka attack. If that happens im happy to give them 200/200k resources. I always break my shield if my th gets destroyed because i make more cash attacking instead of sitting behind a shield. As you see on my channel, in my vids my collectors are still like lv3-4. I dont rely on them, i rely on other peoples resources.

The key to not getting farmed by others is to place your defenses properly, level up defenses that take out multiple troops at once. The wizard tower is your best friend, make sure those towers are #1 on your upgrade list.

Then don't complain...just gem...it only takes around 5k usd to max out to th 9. Then u can play at ur own leisure...lolololol
