Clan Castle Troop Depository

Requesting troops from clan mates can be hit or miss depending on who is online. May I suggest a troop depository, whereas clan members can donate troops to the depository and clan members who have been granted access to the depository can withdraw troops as needed?

-Access would be determined by Leaders and Co-Leaders based on clan loyalty and participation.
-Access can be withdrawn, just like a player can be demoted, if abuse is noticed.
-Clan Members can donate any troops or amount they wish, but can only withdraw the limit of their clan castle.

I am one of only 4 members of my clan making level 5 or above troops. Often times I am not available to donate, or do not have troops built to donate, especially when I am on attacking myself. It would be great to make a bunch of troops for my clan mates, put them in the depository, and go about executing my strategy.

This is a really cool and original idea. How would withdrawing troops work? Would a player have to withdraw them straight from the depository? That would probably be a lot for a leader/co to keep up with since they would spend a lot of time granting and removing access. How much space would the depository have and where would it be stored/accessed (it can't be a players village and there's no 'clan' village). Would it be an extra building someone could unlock?

Thanks! I envision it like this...

-Similar to how one is promoted to Elder and Co-Leader, a member is given access to the Depository.
-Once access is granted it is allowed until access is revoked by a leader or co-leader. Similar to being demoted.
-The troop count would be the same as it would be in the clan profile 'Troops Donated' 'Troops Received' so a leader can see if someone is abusing the Depository.
-It would not require an additional building, it would be accessed through the Clan Castle via 'Request Troops'
Instead of the request appearing in the chat log, one would simply grab the troops they needed from the Depository.
-Clan members who have not been granted access to the Depository would still have their troop request filled in the Chat log like normal.

At least that is how I envision it.

Also adding on to this. Maybe there's a second section in the clan castle and additionally maybe you could be able to remove clan castle troops and store them inside of your army camps for a actuall attack and then request for more troops through the clan castle instead of having to delete them

I think it is too easy to exploit.

-Assuming you still get experience for donations you could just spam as many troops as you wanted into the depository.
-It would make it alot easier to run feeder accounts, An offense only account that just logs in fills up the depository and leaves meaning everyone always has high level troops.

Caruso: I would have to disagree with this option, simply because it would be skirting the intent of the game. If you could request troops, reallocate those troops to your Army Camp, then request more troops, you would theoretically never have to buy troops. I think that could too easily be abused.

Thanks Webbie, I hadn't thought about that. To reduce the potential for feeder account abuse you could limit the capacity of the Depository. Or the number of troops a person can supply in a 12 or 24 hour period.

I don't like this idea. It's the same system Dungeon Keeper uses. Ppl, would just grab the good troops. And to prevent ppl from donating a dragon to the depot, then taking it for themselves. There is a troop limit and wait time. You can only donate 5 troops every 20 or so minutes. Ppl would prob boost their buddies friends in need trophies count if you don't put limitations. CO donates a hundred barbs, leader just empties the depot. Rinse and repeat.

That would be one stipulation. You could only withdraw your clan castle capacity. So if you need 5 Giants, you have to have 25 open spots in your clan castle. I don't see the returns of donating 200 barbarians and then someone extracting 200 barbarians. This would not be a troop reallocation, simply a way to put troops up that people would otherwise be requesting, but have no one to fill it. Some people in our clan wait 45 minutes to an hour before anyone can donate troops to them.

Just trying to solve that problem.

You can empty your cc and refill it from the depot over and over, this problem plagued Dungeon Keeper. That means CO's who never donate but are buddies with the leader will get access to my troops.

Limiting the cap to 5 troops per 20 minutes, would hinder overall donation. If I have have to wait every 20 minutes to merely deposit 5 archers/giants/pekka, I'll prob quit playing. I have troops ready to donate, but I can't donate them for another 20 minutes, and I can't use them in a raid either (5 pekkas?). So I have to sit there, I can't raid, can't donate, they take up valuable troop space, I logoff, I forget and never come back. Donating became an over night army thing. You train the troops at night, then deposit them in the morning. No point in gemming troops either bc of the wait time.
