TH Sniping

So im at 2300+ trophies right now as a th8. I am town hall sniping to try and get up to masters. Usually i find like 1 base i can town hall snipe in every 50 or so. However in the last few days i have spent about 500k+ gold searching for town halls outside the base (So like 1000 different players' bases) and found none. I just want to know if anyone else has experienced something like this, and i'm also wondering why this has only started happening now when a few days ago i could pretty easily find town Halls to snipe. It's becoming really annoying because i am wasting a lot of gold, and as soon as i leave the game i get 2-3 starred by a th10. Thanks.

Yep. When I unsuccessfully tried to go for masters, I had to spend over 30 mins trying to find a th snipe with no luck. I was about the 2300+ range as well.

Use barch to get 50% and if that's a little risky then use giants and hope for a 50%.

with higher league bonus I doubt many people skip a snipe anymore so they wont be as common

The higher trophies you get, the less there will be. Nothing strange about this.

Yeah but ive been at this trophy level for about a week, and only in the last 2 or 3 days have i not been able to find any town halls to snipe, it was fine before that.

Maybe it's a sign that you should learn how to actually attack bases instead of looking for handouts from farmers.

Hah maybe it is... But as a th8 I havent got the right level troops to attack th10s and get over 1 star.

Stop town hall sniping. Start farming and upgrade buildings in your base until you feel confident to get to Master League by pushing legitimately (I think TH sniping is not, but that's just my opinion :)). Good luck! :D

You could try barching for one star wins. :) I'm not sure how high that will get you at TH8, although Clash with Cam seems to be pretty confident he'll be able to do it with TH7 (but bear in mind he is a barch pro :)).

I just went for barch 1 or 2-stars until 2300, then did 8 drags and 40 archers until 2600. 2300-2600: I sniped any TH I could find, went for a base that I thought I could take on and went for blackhole bases (there are a surprising amt up there)(I never failed, just don't place all your drags at once, play like 2-4 at a time; most of times only had to use 4 or 6 drags instead of all 8)(only boosted rax 2550-2600)
