My original th9 farming base with skelly traps and the new 4th mortar. Only issue I have is the 2 air defense at the top being so close together but staying around gold 1 i see more giant and barch attacks so thats what my base was designed around. Let me know if you see any issues. Thanks!
This is my base. Only one giant attack with level 10 heros. 26% damage.
As a whole, for me, your air defenses seem a bit exposed, especially, as you pointed out the two northernmost. A few of your storages are fairly exposed, though I suspect that is your intent so I'll let that slide. Your walls are nice, and I see you have lava hounds on at least one of your dark barracks, nicely done. Something I would be slightly concerned for is a mass drag attack, particularly with your air defenses unevenly spread.
If people went for the TH snipe, they would be sorely disappointed.
Pros:

- Well-placed surrounding structures
Cons:
- Town hall not completely exposed, makes snipes less likely
- Top air defenses exposed
- Outer gold/elixir storage exposed on the bottom left/right
It doesn't look too bad, but one thing is the compartments are a bit large.
Thank you the quick response. First I should have pointed out that my goal for the base is mostly to protect DE. Since I average about 200 attacks a season gold and elixir come easy. Hero upgrades and dark troop upgrades are what I want to focus on. 2nd archers are still able to reach my TH without being shot down and why not use your high hit point TH as a surrounding structure as part of your defense. As for the large compartments that are designed for traps and large travel area for giants/hogs and has seem to work well for mortars on barch attacks. For a side note I moved the top 2 air defense with the top 2 storages.
