How's my base

How's my base guys, should I upgrade to th9?

For a TH8, your defenses and walls are severely lacking level. I myself, am TH7 and I have better defenses and walls. I would catch up on your walls and defenses before even considering upgrading to TH9.

However, the base placement isn't bad. Your mortars, air defenses, and wizard towers are triangulated, or in the case for the mortar, in a square formation. Which is good as this allows for maximum coverage. Trap location could use a little bit of work, barb king is centralized as is CC.

Besides defenses and wall levels, this base is pretty good.

FYI if you still have the same level, you both have the same experience, and therefore similar defensive capabilities.

I'd suggest upgrading some more.

Pretty much upgrade everything you have at least one or two levels...some will need like 3-6 in fact...you got a LONG way to go...

He's saying, that my base still has more defense in quantity, i believe. Although quality usually beats quantity.

Er... actually, in matchmaking(and occasionally multi-player as well, as long as your defenses aren't like level 4 @ TH9 or something), quantity over quality.
