Is there a trick ?

I use 4 fingers to deploy my troops as fast as possible

If there's a collector base with collectors inside first layer, I use four fingers to deploy Barch, scrolling my thumb and index finger on the corners. If I want to attack a side with Barch, I use 2-3 fingers (typically my index, middle, and ring fingers) to first deploy Barbs as meat shield, then Archers behind them at the same region.

Watched some of the vid and its a decent guide but saw the raids themselves could use some improvement

Definitely, the army composition could be improved as most of the raids were just purely with Barbs, Archers, and a few Minions, no spells or heroes.
