How to get all 5 builders without gemming them

I have 5 builders and at TH9, my builders are not building fast enough for me to upgrade the next building. None of them have chance to idle since I become TH9 2 weeks ago.

However, you may be right as the upgrade becomes more expensive which by then I may have idle builders..... but I certainly hope this will not happen.

That's just not true! I have 5 builders since ages and none of them were ever sleeping. I'm a TH10 now with just cannons/archer towers and 2 ad left to upgrade and still no builder is sleeping! My GG is 1.238 billion made with barching.
