How to get all 5 builders without gemming them

Ok guys, the time has finally come. Throughout this thread I will be posting content on a new account I have made showing how to get all 5 builders without purchasing any gems, or pushing above crystal league. So firstly, heres an introduction about the account.

On the Tuesday the 11th November, 2014, I decided to start a brand new account, and challenge myself to get all 5 builders without purchasing gems. I decided to call the account Anti-Venom (no apparent reason) so that is the account that will be in use throughout my journey. On this account, I plan to buy no gems and spend no gems, including in game gems. The few exceptions will be boosting my spell factory, barracks, heroes and dark barracks, though this will only come after all 5 builders are obtained through in-game gems. I will be doing weekly or fortnightly updates, showing images and how my progress is going. I hope you enjoy the post, and lets get right into it.

November 11, 2014:

Today I started the account, did a couple of raids on the goblin maps however thats about it. The beginning is quite boring, especially when your not speeding up the buildings through the tutorial, however patience is one of the main killers in this game. No pictures for today.


November 18, 2014.

Ok, so now we have started to make some progress. For now images of my base will be posted as thumbnails at the bottom of the post. As you can see in the image, I am currently at th3, and have almost built all the buildings. Once i have built the lab I will be moving on to th4 and then th5. So far I have 307 gems which isn't too bad. The reason my progress isn't currently as fast as it could be is due to my push with APOTHEOSIS on my main account. Thats about it so far. Not too much to report. Keep looking out for the next post which will be in approximately one week. Until then, Clash On ✌️.

Finally, th5! Refer to the picture below to see my village. I have joined the Adherence family clans, which I started myself. It is a great clan system and if you are clanless I strongly recommend joining! My goal over the next week will be to upgrade my lab to lvl 3 and unlock lvl 3 barch. Thats all I have time for today. Well, you are gemming the builders ... lol. I think you mean w/o purchasing gems.

i got 5 builders been playing for a year, no money spent, only use gems for 1 gem boosts and go for achievements.

easy - you do the achievements.

Dang, talk about spending wisely. It'll actually be pretty easy for everyone to get all five builders huts if you save and spend your gems wisely. My friend was TH5 when he got all of his. In theory you get 25 gems minimum a week through the gem box. I think it's 25, might be 20.

Add on the fact that you get trees and stuff that give you gems sometimes (1-10?), you could be making at least 30 gems a week, if you're lucky. and if you save them. If you complete the achievements then you get 20 gems or more.

All in all it's pretty easy to get all five builders huts if you're smart. I, wasn't smart, and that why I only have three...

I doubt he got all 5 builders in TH5 without paying for the gems. Builder 4 is 1k gems and builder 5 is 2k gems. You can hit TH6 in like 2/3 weeks.

5 builders are a complete waste after TH8. One upgrade costs 4 million resources, good luck keeping them all active. Mine sit idle for days and I have only 3.

That's weird, All my builders are working and I'm TH10 using loonion every chance i get. Then again, I'm on alot.
