Hello I was just wondering why Clash of Clans isn't available to download on the Kindle app store. I was going to buy a kindle HD 6 since it is only $99 mainly to plan Clash on and I found out that you can't download clash on a kindle. Anyone know why this is and maybe could it be added to the kindle app store?
Not sure if it will ever be added, this not a new request.
But it is actually already possible, just not in a simple app store fashion, if you search Google you can find a few ways to install it on your Kindle.
I was talking to my little cousin the other day and asked him if he played coc. He said no because he had a kindle fire. I was surprised that it wasn't in the amazon market considering that it would be a pretty simple thing to do, as far as technical issues go. It isn't like it would have to be ported to an entirely new platform, it is still just android.
Wonder if there is some politics going on? I don't really care, just weird, that's all.

That isn't exactly true. The kindle fire os is a fork of android and natively runs android apks. You can side load any android apk onto a kindle fire without rooting it. it isn't that hard to do. Now, I am not sure how integrated coc is with google, so I don't know if you could actually play coc on a fire that had it installed, but I am pretty sure that you could install coc without any problems if you could get a hold of the apk. You DO NOT need to root the fire to do this. You just need some sort of file explorer like file manager.
You could also install it on Ubuntu mobile because that supports all of the android apks as well. Like I said, I don't know if you could actually play, because it is so integrated with google... The achievements are in the play store, log in with G+, etc...
Also, doing any of this is probably against the TOS somewhere in there, not sure if it is, but I would read up before ou choose to try anything, lest they ban you.

You can sideload it and it will play just fine. No port needed.
Sadly, the Kindle is an 'unsupported device' and this thread will likely be locked soon. Actually, I'm surprised it hasn't been yet...
I also have a Kindle Fire HDX and hoped the sideload of CoC would work. The game itself does function fine however it requires a sync with Google Play Store and Services to be fully functional. Amazon and Google don't seem to get along with this regard. I wish Supercell would open this up for Amazon users as well. I'm by far a bigger Amazon media user than Apple or Android.
