Fast1, as a firefighter im very familiar with ladders but as i was reading your post i was oddly confused but soon realized you werent speaking of those ladders. Then it hit me. This guy is intelegent with an eye for the bigger picture. Well said sir, thank you!

I don't see most of my clanmates begging for gems at all. There was in fact just one who I wouldn't even call it bugged, cause he politely asked after the sponsor expressed the willingness to give, but one is far from being "most people." Most are focused and determined on winning the gems not just getting them by pleading.

Yes, there are users and takers and those that will take a mile when given an inch, but an occasional non-ongoing give-away shouldn't breed abuse and unfounded expectations. But yes, at the very least, caution is prudent, but to summarily dismiss the notion because of what merely might happen is (I think) a bit too harsh. Your opinion, however, is not without merit.

Sure it's allowed, Supercell can't control who gives away iTunes cards.

you can do what you want with your money..
but if it's the only way to get members, you should probably just join a clan, instead of making an own.

It is legit. You only need a code then you have to redeem it via iTunes.
